So now that we have PC Gamer in YankeeLand and BritLand, how about one in China (YellowLand)?

"Why don't they test for stupidity?

Oh, right - the organizers would be disqualified."

Haha, good one.

"I for one will happily volunteer my time and brain cells for some rigorous testing of the effects on multiple bong hits on FPS performance...."

Well, I'll be GIVING the bongs for use then... haha.

Anyhow, I can I differ that to play games is an escape? They will forever change me, and have been playing them for most of my life (for about...lets say eleven years).

Everyone has addictions and things they love...sports, guns, games (me), and martial arts (me).

I would like to see someone here counter his point or even mine. I know I know, drugs help the escape, I just don't want to see anyone permanently harmed from my personal experience.

"If you think that then wow, you are one pathetic loser."

You know what, though, when my brother was taking drugs and playing Tribes, he was doing a considerable amount of damage compared to when he wasn't. I think you are an unexperienced fool, man. I know there are players that do worse when they shoot up, but then there are players that do better, too. Tell you what, when you watch a sizeable amount of people who all shot up on drugs (or swallow or snorted, no matter), you can then make your own conclusion. It will, of course, not differ from mine.

"The escape reality. It a person wants to or feels the need to do both at the same time, that’s fine by me."

Hey, look, it is fine by me, too. But people are being a bit self-centered is what I was talking about.

I could get into a sot of unconcious state while playing games. For racing, it is awesome. I just flow...flow as green rolling hills on a beautiful country side. What is of some concern to me (though, I do not participate in profession competition) is when people shoot up to play better. I know some take drugs to play better (and I understand that, as well as taking drugs to feel better), but shouldn't there be drug testing especially for a league so serious as CPL, with that Angel Monez-or-whatever-his-gay-name-is.

I do take note about how people play better, and this is one easy tactic (and for great recreation). What I had expressed earlier is that some people take drugs too often, and may be harming themselves, as well as others.

Yeah, I guess you think it's wrong to cheat at a measly computer game, but you think it is ok to inject harmful chemicals into your body.

This is pure idiocy, this reasoning used here.

When I get out of school you're gonna have to deal with me, and that'll be in about...let us say a few hours.

"Every one else here thought the site was done by a guy."

Perhaps you didn't put your name on the site (but you probably don't want to anyways - privacy is something I value).

But if I do not see a name on a site, how the site was designed and written will help me conclude that the site was designed by a certain gender.

Yes, games are hard to return. Fortunately, I live close to a mall which houses Software Ect., a store where you can return games within seven days.

No, good games are the ones that sell enough the first time that they don't need to be repackaged and dictated six ways from sunday.

Also, from another visit to your site, I found you had a Christian point of view. Now, this is not the way to go for a game like Quake 3. Simply put, you remember Doom? That had a load of satanic symbols and other things. Though, I hope to God that you don't review that game. I just don't want the score to be detracted for its great atmosphere (partly due to the satanic feel).

I don't want to seem like you're not doing your job, because you are. However, it is not the kind of job PC Gamer or IGN will employ you for

Of course, now that I think about it, I want to start my own site now. There needs to be more depth in your reviews. And it seems from that feeling I had, I wanted to fill in a very large hole...

"10 Months? and you're a CS expert? ROFLMAO!!!! It's been retail for longer than that. I've been playing it since beta 3. Yeah, BETA. y'know, that thing they did for 1.5 years before CS retail ever hit the shelf?
Sit your BS "I'm l33t3r th@n j00" ass down in the back."

I have never said I was a CS expert. I had simply implied that I had encountered a sizeable amout of players through vigorous play for ten months. Now please, children, you do know you're dealing with grown-ups now.

Oh, and I had HL ever since it came out. So no, I didn't buy the retail version of CS (if you had any doubt, by the way).

"awesome idea/gameplay of bullet-time in a First Person Shooter"

First of all, it is not a FPS.

Second of all, this idea is far from original. There was first a bullet time effect on Perfect Dark, where you could take this pill to slow down time. That effect is much better in PD, because it has a more cinematic effect (impact sparks off of walls, ect.).

Anon, you kick total ass. I wish I could say the same thing.

Anyhow, I tried all three known realism mods (all three big ones out as of now), and I have to say, Urban Terror is the best.

I recently tried Tactical Ops for Unreal Tournament, hoping it would be somewhat entertaining. I was wrong. The weapon physics are totally whack (imagine an AK-47 firing as fast as a minigun). The slow pistol fire is too much to even enjoy using them (imagine firing a .45 as slow as a Desert Eagle). And last but not least, is the unfitting map design. The maps are not that bad, but they could use some work. As soon as they work on that horrid weapon physics model, I'll start playing it a bit more. Right now, I’m just playing it because it's something new.

But you know what, as soon as I got off of TO and back on UT, I felt a whole lot better. They DEFINITELY NEED TO WORK ON THAT MOD. Now, hopefully, Navy Seals will kick total ass (another Quake 3-based realism mod), and Total Combat, too. I'm assured that TC will be the realism mod to play. But... I'm putting my money down on Navy Seals (considering how Navy Seals for Quake was like the best thing out there), and maybe... just maybe, the game play coupled with the realism will intrigue me. More so than TC in fact.

P.S. The Desert Eagle looks and sounds weak. Better fix that guys! Remember, the Desert Eagle is a powerful handgun, not an airsoft toy.

"you can't accept that some still like to play CS AND HAVE FUN!"

One thing I will admit after bashing games, though, is that I do it in my own respect torwards those certain games. I do not want to bash CS too much, or probably not all, actually. In the day, I never bashed a game. Your ugly CS and Unreal kind keeps bashing id games all the time. It is apparent in either this thread or another one (I think it is the Gore Test thread). I will accept people still play CS and have fun, but when will CS players admit that all games are equal in their own respect? It will never come from Unreal players. I do not like it at all. You probably do not like it, either.
