I'm sure there will be some way to modify the HUD in the Options menu. Stop whining about Xbox and take a look at the real travesty. Did anyone check out the screen of that Nosferatu game on IGN? Those fingers on the pastie white character looks like crap, I didn't know developers were allowed to make games like this anymore. Horror themed games have gone the way of early Star Trek games. Somebody needs to shut that publishing house down.

When are they going to create a game using the ORIGINAL Star Trek characters? I'll buy the shit out of that. Hurry up and make it so Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner can still do the voice parts. I thought about that, so I went into the BIOS to disable the temperature overheat auto shutdown setting and when it rebooted, the board alarm came on and stayed on. It's a new heatsink fan and it did it with both the new and old fan, so I've kind of hit a brick wall. Any other ideas, suggestions or the like.

My computer will run games like Real Girls Strip Poker and play movie & music files, but when I try to run a game like Need For Speed 2 on it, it will play for about a minute then reboot entirely. It's a Pentium 2 440Mhz (go ahead and laugh), and I've already went into the BIOS and changed everything to the default settings, but it still keeps rebooting. Last year my girlfriend and I played through Serious Sam w/o any problems and played NOLF online too, but for some reason even games like these won't play without it messing up. Any ideas? ...and NO I can't afford a new computer!

Because I want to squint my eyes and pretend I can afford a XBox or Playstation in addition to my computer. Plus, I think gamepads are so cool that I should interrupt a thread about racism, because eveyone's a bit prejudice about something, whether it be ethnic background, social status, or intelligence, everyone hates something, so it's pointless to talk about. Are you serious about being able to configure a gamepad to any game? I really want to buy one but if I can't use it for new games I'd really rather not waste the money...

I'll answer this one....ahem...

I remember the day I bought Tribes 2...I was soo psyched to get it home and be one of the players flying through the sky like in the demo in perfect superhero style.

And so I booted up my computer and ran the install which took close to an hour. I then tried to play the game and it didn't work. I tried to fix the problem multiple ways, but came to the conclusion that I needed to upgrade.

So $400.00 later I had a new video card and a PIII 800Mh processor. I believed this to be a worthy purchase because I wanted to get online and play the really badass game that I had read everyone talking about on the message baords and the hype in PC Gamer magazine.

So for a second time I booted up the new improved computer and clicked on the Tribes 2 single player icon....the game started!

Ah, thank the O Lord for giving us this day our Tribes 2 in all it's hyped glory and let me frag anyone who trespasses against me, Amen.

But what's this? No this can't be. Why are some of the textures messed up? Uninstall, reinstall.

Another 45 minutes later.

Click. Ta-da, and presto. Everything's in working order and with a little tweaking the game looks great. Still loads slow, but I can deal with that. The feeling that this game was a shitty purchase was starting to fade away.

So I dawdle around in single player for a while, just getting used to the controls and I decide it's about time to get some online action.

I click on the Multiplayer icon and try to find a server and connect. Then after multiple attempts to get on a server, when I finally did get on one everything was sloooow and I got disconnected and the game just shut down, so I had to restart in order to try again.

After several frustrating attempts at this, the feeling of Sierra sticking a big fat cock in my ass started to creep back up on me. I thought that maybe there was a patch that might fix it, so I logged onto the web site and to my surprise...there it was only there were multiple patches to choose from.

I won't go into details about all of my frustration with the patches, because anyone who's owned this piece of craptastic piece of f**kshit knows about trying to install the patch and it repeatedly trying to patch itself in a never ending f**kfest of shitholiness.

I vowed from then on I would never again purchase a Sierra product, and I won't and I hope that everyone else gives two extended middle fingers to this company if they try and pawn another one of these games out onto the gaming community.

A/ Dr. Capps: America’s Army: Operations will be posted for download on July 4th. It will also be available later on CD, paired with America’s Army: Soldiers.

So don't expect to see it until sometime later this year.
