Funny how by trying to not bring attention to this "forum" they made even more people aware of its existence.

Removing sites like this just makes it go further underground, at least maybe with these pedos thinking their safe out in the open someone might be investigating them. They need to do more dragnet "to catch a predator" type sting operations, they were catching all sorts of interesting people with that show. One guy was a cancer research specialist, couldn't believe that actually happened but there he was with his mike's hard lemonade.

Hardline doesn't have a future, focusing on 5v5 modes because nobody is playing isn't going to fix anything.

Hopefully they have an open "beta" test of this game to try before release, I'm sure if they do it'll be two weeks before release or something.

It looks and sounds amazing but it seems to be aimed at fourteen year old kids with ADD, everything is 10 minute round based. They haven't announced how dedicated servers work for this but I'm still guessing it'll be instanced servers thus no way to tweak anything gameplay wise with one click play to find games through matchmaking.

I would like to know what that xbox app is doing to degrade the performance in a game that doesn't use it, another chunk of microsoft spyware?

The bit about Firefox being slower in Windows 10 sounds suspicious to me as well, are they intentionally gimping performance to get people to use their "fast" edge browser?

Star Wars Battlefront looks and sounds amazing, plays like a casual arcade/console game.

The lack of any single player campaign pushes this multiplayer only title into the overpriced category. It's Star Wars so they can overcharge and under-deliver and still make a ton of money.

I'm sure they've looked at it and had plenty of meetings about making a space game to tap into the revenue stream. EA has Star Wars, Activision has Call of Duty (and Destiny?). I don't think they would touch this game with a twelve parsec pole.

Except with those prices you'll be grinding forever to be able to afford just one upgrade.

It's all irrelevant, there's absolutely no way for this game to live up to the hype around it.

This is a prefect example of why games are designed the way they are and remove the tedious actions of forcing you to actually manipulate your game character into vehicles like this. It's cool maybe once or twice but given the realistic designs of the ships you can't even pass another player in a hallway.

They're wasting so much development energy on animating all that realistically as possible when they should just have you walk up to the ship and press a key to get in, select an open position from a menu and take you there, maybe transition to a quick animation of you sitting in your seat and the console activating.

The desync issues over crappy internet connections is going to make this fall flat on its face, you're going to have people warping through the deck of the ship - unless they put a hard cap on multi-crew zones to 16 players.

Hellblade looks like a dead end game, coming up with ideas for games is hard but doing a generic sword slasher and pinning everything on how "realistic" it looks seems to be the wrong way to go about it.

Needs to have a ton of variety in the maps you play on, the only thing that kept me playing Borderlands was exploring new areas.

oh come on, this does not warrant an age check gate.

Granted lots of games have real time spectator mode but for a game like this it seems like it would just be asking for people to cheat.

The voice actor for Faith didn't seem to match the grunts and groans, I thought she was suppose to be Asian.

If that was actual game play, highly stylized and heavily scripted.

Fighter Squadron is 20 players + 20 AI = 40 fighters + transport ships in the sky

There's your "bots" in multiplayer, and no you won't be able to turn them off and fill them with human players.

I think they realize that the lifespan of multiplayer is getting shorter and shorter, you have an initial rush to play the game and then it drops off sharply. They might obscure the number of active players playing the game by counting bots as players, that is if they actually report the number of players in game in the first place.

They're going to casual the crap out of this game with auto-target tracking reticules and lock on missiles with no countermeasures. And that might not be a bad thing because you always get some jackass who plays the game non stop 24/7 and smears everyone else from the map - anyone who's ever played "air superiority" mode in BF4 can attest to that.

They need to ramp up the procedurally generated content to fill in the void of everything being the same. I was hoping for more variety in the space station designs for example.

I wonder how they plan on implementing multiplayer into this type of expansion, I guess there will be limits on what you can do on the planet surface - no blowing up other player ships for example. Will you have the freedom to land anywhere or will it just be a "seamless" cutscene to the planet surface?
