check your grenades, regular, gas and smoke are there

i didnt notice any frostbite building collapse but it might be there, also seemed a bit slow paced, like its meant to be played with a controller

someone posted a picture of that large arch destroyed in a pile of large boulders. Buildings are destructible to a point but most can't be leveled because of gameplay reasons.

Looks like you'll have access to generic grenades for free but if you want gas and smoke grenades you'll have to buy them with war bonds earned while playing the game.

I also noticed in the server browser it looks like servers can restrict classes so you could have a "no sniper" rule set, I imagine if you do that your server will be unranked but I don't know for sure.

Part of the issue with the UI is that they've turned off options in the beta like being able set your loadout out of game, they have settings where it would make more sense to be able to input a number but because consoles don't have keyboards they have sliders (resolution scale for example), okay neat we can watch youtube videos from the Battlefield divias but there's no controls for the playback (I'm not a fan of this idea anyway). Still no favorite loadout quick save slots, the loadout menu between spawns is rather crap compared to previous games. In game server browser is nice and one of those "about time" moments even though they've had it in previous games but took an insane amount of time to get working. It still could use an ability to peek at the game to see if you're joining a cluster-F### of player imbalance.

I doubt there will be any major changes to the UI before release.

Graphics 10/10
Sound 10/10
UI 7/10
Gameplay 6/10

I don't agree with people saying it's a reskinned version of Battlefront but I can see why they're saying it. The UI feels the same but you have to think of how much easier it is to do different language/regions with this setup. The vehilces are OP because there's a bug that is keeping most people from increasing rank for the different classes so that you can gain access to equipment needed to take on vehicles as a foot soldier.

They've tweaked the medic revive mechanic to the point of almost being pointless to even try, they did this for two reasons - the complaints of "medic trains" and people that burst into explosive rage when they're revived only to die again because the area isn't cleared out first. I don't know if the Assault class being split from the Medic was needed, again seems like they wanted to nerf that medic class but went too far.

I can't see this "old timey" Battlefield WWI having the lasting power of modern warfare shooters, it doesn't leave me with that feeling of "just one more game" at 1am. I couldn't get enough of Bad Company 2 beta but this just doesn't have the magic, it's a decent game but only a so-so Battlefield game.

Maybe there's other modes or maps in the final game that will make it shine through but right now I think this one will just be a flash in the pan like Hardline and Battlefront was. Three months and it's a ghost town, maybe sooner (FPS community split) with the release of Titanfall 2 and the new/old COD - more people are interested in the COD 4 HD update than the new game.

With all the complaints and negative reviews, NMS is doing a fine job staying in the number 1 spot

not a single thumbs up on the steam page for the game either.

NMS has 25k+ "thumbs up" reviews on its steam page.

on the steam page all of the reviews were thumbs down (visible), along with all the false advertisement material - love that e3 video right there up front and center.

Hello Games has stolen the crown from Gearbox as far as I'm concerned.

And they're trying to prop this up as a super new franchise, they're even making a "Division" movie.

it had a cool atmosphere and that's about it.

They just needed that one guy you see driving down the road with a mattress on the roof of his car and one hand holding it down.

He could have kept those pipes from rolling off.

Pretty sure the season passes for previous BF games were not 50 bucks, then again I never bought the season pass until some time later when they were discounted. (which sticker shock of Battlefront's pass cause a bit of a uproar).

And if I'm not mistaken, only Bethesda upped the price of the season pass halfway through it's DLC. Apon checking it was 30 then went up to 50.
You may be right. I seem to recall other games having $50 season passes as well.

We always go round and round on this, pretty sure if you add up the cost of the expansions since BF1942 it works out to be pretty close to the $130 mark per game (full retail).

Does anyone pay full retail for their games? I know I don't, usually end up spending $47 or so on what's suppose to be $60.

kills not counting towards ticket loss on conquest mode sounds dumb, maybe it'll work out when playing the game. I guess this is their answer to "too many snipers" and "nobody plays the objective" but you would think they could just give a point boost to people capping and defending and gamify people into playing the objective.

I'm still not convinced that the gamer hype surrounding this Battlefield is real, I think the WWI setting is going to be a flash in the pan. I still wish it was 2143 setting or Bad Company 3 even.

Streaming service, the artifacting from compression might actually help alias the graphics.

Don't expect anything that requires twitch movement to be all that satisfying.

To access a few exclusives it might be worth a one time three month subscription, or you could just buy a used ps3 from ebay/craigslist that usually comes with a couple of the exclusive games.

When they do this all it makes me think is, "okay, I'll wait a year for when all the content cut from the main game is bundled in a "deluxe" version and on sale for $20".

Having said all that, I don't know why people just won't let it go? It sucked, it wasn't what we wanted (or needed). It happens (all the damn time). Listing all the stuff that we thought it would have isn't going to bring that stuff back. HG/Sony will just release some half-assed response blaming gamers for expecting too much and not understanding what they were selling. End of story. They don't care.

Two things really, people are still being duped into buying it based on the fake ass trailers. Hell, even up on the main Steam page it's full of false advertising.

Until Sean Murray gives a real answer as to where is the game he was talking about and showing off all this time people aren't going to let it go, nor should they.

secondly, everyone still wants to play that game.
