Look, you have all the right in the world to not play a game because you find the main character less than aesthetic, but at the same time you have to accept that such an opinion will make people think you are very, very shallow.

Ah, but that would mean giving control of the phone over to the customer. How would manufacturers then force you to install all those trash bloatware apps and harvest your data through obfuscated proprietary code?
I am extremely petty. Never bought the game because the devs were very publicly adamant about never having the game go on sale and somehow it just rubbed me the wrong way.

Honestly, serves me right if I lose my job because of AI. It's not anyone's responsibility to keep me in the market.

I wonder what portion of that accounts for GOTY (if at all), where the Horse Armor DLC would have been included already.
I can't name any names but I have this uncanny feeling that I've heard words like "No, we are not shutting down" or "No, we are not cancelling the game" many times before only to see an article come out next week informing us that game X has shutdown/been cancelled.

My first experience with Payday (Payday 2) was joining a public lobby through quick play, seeing someone in the chat type "New account, he won't know how to overdrill, kick pls" and getting kicked out of the match. Never picked up the game again after that.
Valve's refund policy was not in place yet (policy applied in 2015, I bought Payday 2 in 2014), so jokes are on me for buying a game I didn't play for more than 15 minutes in 10 years.

Slightly off topic but I have stayed away from Lords of the Fallen since I got hard stuck in the first original one from 2014 on an enemy which I simply did not have enough speed to defeat due to my starting class choice.
