It originated in England as a term for specific futbol fans in the 2010's. Today, (from 2020-ish onward) it's an online term meant as a lighthearted insult/ribbing between guys referring to their inflated sexual appetites.

I've had this game on Steam for a while but nice to get it somewhere else for free in case Steam ever goes to crap.

I can highly recommend that you try NieR. The story is insanely good.

You know, I've always found it so strange that caring about layoffs is such a big thing in the gaming hobby.

I worked jobs in several different fields over the years, reading a bit of news here and there in dedicated magazines, and very rarely did I ever see any mention of "construction company of 50 lays off 15 people" or "small firm of 20 people lays off 5 people". That essentialy is the equivalent of smaller game development studios.

Why we care so much about a small/medium indie company having some layoffs is really strange to me. It's not like companies have some obligation to only keep growing or to always keep the same people on the job.

"Playing it safe" was never the intention of art, I believe.

How can you advance yourself as a human being if your views or beliefs are never challenged (or allowed to be challenged)?
