Thought it was by the same people that did PlateUp! and thought we were witnessing the creation of the –Up! gaming universe, but it seems to be a different developer, though similar-ish idea (couch co-op job simulator).

Loved the original, but just couldn't really get into part 2 and don't even think I touched part 3. I hadn't even realized there was a part 4 til seeing this, I feel so out of touch now.

"never designed to support third-party apps," yet it took them ~10 years to buy out a third-party app and call it their own "official app" (they bought out Alien Blue in 2014 and just rebranded it as their own).

Relevent section from Wikipedia:
Mobile apps
In 2010, Reddit released its first mobile web interface for easier reading and navigating the website on touch screen devices. For several years, redditors relied on third-party apps to access Reddit on mobile devices. In October 2014, Reddit acquired one of them, Alien Blue, which became the official iOS Reddit app. Reddit removed Alien Blue and released its official application, Reddit: The Official App, on Google Play and the iOS App Store in April 2016.

I haven't been to this site in probably over a decade, I think I migrated away from being a regular use right around when Google Reader came out and transitioned to that & other RSS feeds, and from there onto other content aggregators, most recently leaving Reddit because of their current issues going on. Before that though, I used to stop by this site on a daily basis (seeing whatever that new logo is confused me for a minute), along with Penny Arcade, PvP, Slashdot, and a smattering of other random websites that I checked daily during my teenage years. It just made me realize what a different place the internet used to be when you actually had to make an effort to go out and find websites, but glad I found this place again.
