Gee, a red state experiencing a health crisis because of extreme stupidity? I'm shocked. Shocked, I say! There's a predictable outcome to this and all you can do is stand back and laugh at the FO part of FAFO.

Gee, a leftist leaving out the fact that Oregon who is about as blue as you can get is right there with Louisiana.

If you read the idiotic attack on RFK Jr. by the NYT, the only line in it that's credible is in the last paragraph...i["Like Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Siri insists he does not want to take vaccines away from anyone who wants them." And there you have it--yet another NYT hit piece that is totally groundless. Anything to do with Trump, the NYT will attack with all kinds of ridiculous nonsense. Nobody wants to pull the Polio vaccines--and btw, there are two of them--the Salk and the Sabin. I've had both. And in fact I've had every vaccine known to man, I think...;) No ill effects. No Polio. No anything. RFK Jr. deserves his day in the sun, as I can clearly recall what I was doing the day that JFK was murdered and then on the day RFK was also murdered. I'm hoping he gets into the stuff the government is still hiding about those assassinations! RFK Jr. deserves to know, and so does the country, imo. I can't blame the man for being deeply suspicious of the federal government on a number of levels.

If you read the idiotic attack on the NYT by WaltSee, you'd see that his ability to understand what is happening is quite low.

He can insist he doesn't want to take vaccines away from anyone who wants them, but that's only because he can lie. His actions actually reveal that he's trying to get the FDA to revoke approval. Do you know what that means, WaltSee? It means that people would not be able to get them, even if they want them.

What we have here is a case of someone saying one thing while doing another. WaltSee, the problem is you're paying attention to what they're saying and not what they're doing. If I say I'm not going to scam you as I'm offering to sell you all my HawkTuah NFTs for a mere $100,000, will you happily buy them from me?

Is this why you think Trump is going to lower the price of groceries, or pay no attention to Project 2025, or build the wall, or make you wealthier?

not quite right, but I know it doesn't serve your anti Trump agenda. you left this part out:

"Mr. Siri is also representing ICAN in petitioning the F.D.A. to “pause distribution” of 13 other vaccines, including combination products that cover tetanus, diphtheria, polio and hepatitis A, until their makers disclose details about aluminum"

Good times.
What's hilarious is that Texas couldn't even continue to exist without blue states paying for the deficit Texas and other red states create.

CA is staring down over a $65 billion deficit next year, meanwhile FLA is looking at a 2 billion surplus next year. Those are about the two bluest and reddest states there are and also 2 of the top 3 highest population states. CA has an enormous GDP but still runs that kind of deficit. Specifically to Texas they actually had a surplus that rolled over to this year so there is also that. Also of consequence CA GDP 4T which is #5 in the world, TX is 2.6T or #8 in the world.

Of course they have, you can only rehash the same old lies over and over again before people stop listening and go elsewhere. I used to respect tf out of Obama, until he decided to run back the fine people line yet again 2 days before the election. As a result, I no longer will listen to him either. He lost all his credibility. Same thing is happening to corporate news. Hence MSNBC being up for sale and CNN probably not far behind. It's pretty telling when just last week MSNBC and CNN both were eclipsed in viewership for the week by....the Hallmark channel of all things.

Aren't you the guy that said you prefer your news to be disinformation?
Also,.a Trump supporter owns CNN.

If by disinformation you mean knowing the fine people, bloodbath, liz cheney execution, dictator day one, russia gate etc were all lies? then yes that's me. For instance just today we got to find out that the DoD did in fact slow roll the National Guard on J6 after years of people saying that was a lie. Looking more and more like there was some fed operation going on to instigate J6th.

Further, you may want to check your own facts there. CNN is owned by Warner Brothers who donated over 500K to Kamala and nothing to Trump. This is what I mean, you guys are terribly misinformed but your blind hatred of trump won't allow you to actually listen to the speeches and hear what he says for yourself or look into the facts about the guy.. You'd rather keep eating the stuff being spoon fed by CNN, MSNBC, ABC etc.

I hated the guy, I even believed all of what you guys believe about him. Then I heard more than the sound bite of the very fine people speech and realized he wasn't being a racist in that speech and we had been lied to. That lead to looking into more and more and suddenly I realized they were lying about pretty much everything even beyond trump. Couple the lies with the train wreck the Democrats have been the last 4 years and you get a Trump victory. As I said elsewhere, I never voted Republican before this year, because the D's have completely lost their way I couldn't vote for them and what they stand for.

I think what they really want to do is silence any criticism,

That's rich, as if the democrats and corporate news media haven't been saying "we need to control social media for misinformation and disinformation" It's an interesting way of saying we need to censor free speech because we lost control of the narrative and people aren't buying our BS anymore. this is such a crock becuaae the terms misinformation and disinformation are subjective. Who gets to determine what is what? The government? yeah I trust them That road just leads to censorship, how about accepting people get to say things you don't like and you just have to f'n live with it?

You can say that this isn't Trump's choice, but every single person he's marked for a position has been completely inadequate for the position, and is only getting it because they're loyal to him and do exactly what he says. So this is, in every way, Trump's decision.

In a nihilistically bemused way, I am looking forward to seeing just how fucked up everything becomes under Trump. One, because the people who said "The leopard would never eat my face" are going to find out that the leopard has no fucks to give about whose face it is chewing on. Two, because you can't change something unless you break something. If things become broken enough, people are going to push for protective changes in the future. Sometimes something so terrible has to happen that a sizeable part of the population has to rise up, say "Never again", and enforce that thing never having the opportunity to happen again.

There is a whole lot of pain and misery forthcoming on multiple fronts. That's a given. But maybe that's what we here in the US need to pull our heads out of our asses and stop being a nation of largely stupid, lazy, and ignorant jackasses who blindly follow a convicted rapist felon grifter.

!00% agree. That's how Trump got elected this year. The demoncrats made it so f'd up I voted R for the first time in my life.

Build, fail, learn, until you get it right. It's wild to me how people let their dislike of him cloud their objectivity and reasoning. Nevermind that this is a story originating from a company who would be a competitor to him and probably wants it to fail.

Here's my (not so) highly anticipated thoughts on the election. The GOP feeds off of people's darkest impulses and it has been quite effective at doing so with an extensive misinformation and conspiracy campaign. Racism, sexism, cruelty, hate, and not much else. People actually believe that we have open borders (we don't), that kids are being transified in schools (they aren't), that post-birth abortion is a thing (it's not), that cities are war zones or have been burned to the ground in BLM riots (nope, the cities are fine), and have been convinced that they'd be better off without universal health care (you're not, statistically speaking). Even if you just care about your own financial well-being and nothing else (which is completely psychotic) then Dems are still better than Republicans. All of this feeds a ridiculous false narrative of Dems being baby-eating monster authoritarians who allow widespread crime and deliberately funnel in illegal immigrants so they can vote Dem and cause anarchy.

I'm not sure how you combat such a massive and effective misinformation and conspiracy campaign. Simply correcting the lies with facts and data doesn't work. That's boring, doesn't elicit strong emotions (the primary factor in decision making), and it's impossible to compete with the rapid pace at which the lies are fed. Additionally, I'm not confident that the US will ever have another meaningful Presidential election given that the system is so rigged in favor of the GOP at this point. And with the GOP in control of all branches, that rigging is about to get even worse.

Sorry women, say goodbye to bodily autonomy. The weirdos are in charge, and your body belongs to them now. And if you rely on the ACA, well, good luck staying alive once that's taken away. At least we still have video games.

Wow, just wow. Literally everything you said is a fallacy. MSNBC and CNN in the house it would appear.

Agree with this sentiment except the fact that Space X is in fact bonded to the government teat. A 1.8B contract in 2021 that they figure will be a major part of thier future revenue certainly bonds them to uncle sam in a not inconsequential way.

I disregard the extreme joke ones such as MSNBC and CNN, then take an extrapolation of what gets reported by any such topic from multiple news sources giving the least amount of weight to what is said by main stream news media with slightly more weight to BBC and Al Jazeera, in short I draw on multiple sources and make my own conclusions as to what seems most likely to be the truth.

For the sake of disclosure I'm not right nor left, not a trumper not a never trumper. Voted the idiot we got now in 2020 after voting libertarian in 16 thinking trump would never get elected. Now I am going to vote for the guy who at least had a safer country and world under his presidency. I hate trump, but I love the country I spent 5 years of my life in service to more. In a perfect world we would have Ramaswamy or Gabbard or even RFK Jr going against Trump. But we got the dementia patient so I'll fix my mistake and vote Trump this time.

Your first mistake is going off a CNN article, perhaps the least credible of all news media outlets (not that any of them are, CNN is just the least). That being said, this is based on actions 40 years in the past? The overwhelming majority of us aren't the same person we were 5 or 10 years ago much less 40. That's low hanging fruit at it's very best. Not saying he isn't deserving of negative attention, but at least look for something in recent history. I don't even hold Biden's remarks from when he was a young senator against him because people do change. Granted his change was to have dementia, but the point stands.

It isn't the reporters, it's their handlers. US main stream news media is nothing but propaganda and programming. All of it is ultimately owned by only 5 corporations, yet there are those who would tell you I'm a conspiracy theorist and there is absolutely nothing to see here, nope, they aren't being given a tailored message to give to the public.
