I use loose leaf tea and an all stainless steel infuser. That, and water at precisely 140F, makes for the perfect pot or cup. Been doing it that way for years.

RIP Gordo. My condolences to his family.

Gee, a red state experiencing a health crisis because of extreme stupidity? I'm shocked. Shocked, I say! There's a predictable outcome to this and all you can do is stand back and laugh at the FO part of FAFO.

If you read the idiotic attack on RFK Jr. by the NYT, the only line in it that's credible is in the last paragraph...i["Like Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Siri insists he does not want to take vaccines away from anyone who wants them." And there you have it--yet another NYT hit piece that is totally groundless. Anything to do with Trump, the NYT will attack with all kinds of ridiculous nonsense. Nobody wants to pull the Polio vaccines--and btw, there are two of them--the Salk and the Sabin. I've had both. And in fact I've had every vaccine known to man, I think...;) No ill effects. No Polio. No anything. RFK Jr. deserves his day in the sun, as I can clearly recall what I was doing the day that JFK was murdered and then on the day RFK was also murdered. I'm hoping he gets into the stuff the government is still hiding about those assassinations! RFK Jr. deserves to know, and so does the country, imo. I can't blame the man for being deeply suspicious of the federal government on a number of levels.
If you read the idiotic attack on the NYT by WaltSee, you'd see that his ability to understand what is happening is quite low.
He can insist he doesn't want to take vaccines away from anyone who wants them, but that's only because he can lie. His actions actually reveal that he's trying to get the FDA to revoke approval. Do you know what that means, WaltSee? It means that people would not be able to get them, even if they want them.
What we have here is a case of someone saying one thing while doing another. WaltSee, the problem is you're paying attention to what they're saying and not what they're doing. If I say I'm not going to scam you as I'm offering to sell you all my HawkTuah NFTs for a mere $100,000, will you happily buy them from me?
Is this why you think Trump is going to lower the price of groceries, or pay no attention to Project 2025, or build the wall, or make you wealthier?

Basically what Cancun Cruz is saying: If you're poor, fuck off. If you live in the countryside that just elected the current government, also fuck off. If you're a regional monopoly, feel free to charge whatever you like.
Good times.

Of course they have, you can only rehash the same old lies over and over again before people stop listening and go elsewhere. I used to respect tf out of Obama, until he decided to run back the fine people line yet again 2 days before the election. As a result, I no longer will listen to him either. He lost all his credibility. Same thing is happening to corporate news. Hence MSNBC being up for sale and CNN probably not far behind. It's pretty telling when just last week MSNBC and CNN both were eclipsed in viewership for the week by....the Hallmark channel of all things.
Aren't you the guy that said you prefer your news to be disinformation?
Also,.a Trump supporter owns CNN.

I love the section 230 reform ideal, We want to stop platforms from censoring certain content and we want to make platforms liable for said content if posted. It's like they want to play basketball outside in the rain without getting wet. Solid plan.
I think what they really want to do is silence any criticism,

You can say that this isn't Trump's choice, but every single person he's marked for a position has been completely inadequate for the position, and is only getting it because they're loyal to him and do exactly what he says. So this is, in every way, Trump's decision.
In a nihilistically bemused way, I am looking forward to seeing just how fucked up everything becomes under Trump. One, because the people who said "The leopard would never eat my face" are going to find out that the leopard has no fucks to give about whose face it is chewing on. Two, because you can't change something unless you break something. If things become broken enough, people are going to push for protective changes in the future. Sometimes something so terrible has to happen that a sizeable part of the population has to rise up, say "Never again", and enforce that thing never having the opportunity to happen again.
There is a whole lot of pain and misery forthcoming on multiple fronts. That's a given. But maybe that's what we here in the US need to pull our heads out of our asses and stop being a nation of largely stupid, lazy, and ignorant jackasses who blindly follow a convicted rapist felon grifter.

Here's my (not so) highly anticipated thoughts on the election. The GOP feeds off of people's darkest impulses and it has been quite effective at doing so with an extensive misinformation and conspiracy campaign. Racism, sexism, cruelty, hate, and not much else. People actually believe that we have open borders (we don't), that kids are being transified in schools (they aren't), that post-birth abortion is a thing (it's not), that cities are war zones or have been burned to the ground in BLM riots (nope, the cities are fine), and have been convinced that they'd be better off without universal health care (you're not, statistically speaking). Even if you just care about your own financial well-being and nothing else (which is completely psychotic) then Dems are still better than Republicans. All of this feeds a ridiculous false narrative of Dems being baby-eating monster authoritarians who allow widespread crime and deliberately funnel in illegal immigrants so they can vote Dem and cause anarchy.
I'm not sure how you combat such a massive and effective misinformation and conspiracy campaign. Simply correcting the lies with facts and data doesn't work. That's boring, doesn't elicit strong emotions (the primary factor in decision making), and it's impossible to compete with the rapid pace at which the lies are fed. Additionally, I'm not confident that the US will ever have another meaningful Presidential election given that the system is so rigged in favor of the GOP at this point. And with the GOP in control of all branches, that rigging is about to get even worse.
Sorry women, say goodbye to bodily autonomy. The weirdos are in charge, and your body belongs to them now. And if you rely on the ACA, well, good luck staying alive once that's taken away. At least we still have video games.

Blue, I think it was more that we were rooting for the destruction of Boeing's property given how shitty of a company they have shown themselves to be. Moreover, Dragon Capsule is cheaper, has proven itself, and isn't latched on and permabonded to the government teat.

Of course it'll probably just come down to a coin toss. The ruling being based on whether it's before or after his "O" face.
