What they showed was tiny maps, no vehicles, and 5v5, it wasn't anything like Tribes and it'll flop if they pull that crap with release.

That said, I also dropped Soldier of Fortune somewhere in a previous thread that it is long overdue for a remaster. I had a blast with that game. Heck, even 2 wasn't bad and actually the gore was more realistic which is saying a lot considering how brutal the original was for its time.

But, they did make The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, which was way better than it had any right to be, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, which I thought was reasonably good.

Kind of ironic this occurred because there was also a previous FPS and RTS Starship Troopers game that came out early 2000s. I had both (in a manner I'm not fond of). I'd say I enjoyed them both equally as they both captured the atmosphere about as well as you could for those times. The FPS one actually had pretty solid graphics considering.

Fallout 76 has come a long way, and I really enjoy it now. Definitely recommend giving it a try!
