I remember playing this (as "Exhumed") on the Playstation 1. That's about all I remember though since the game itself wasn't exactly memorable.

Kotaku are reporting that eBay is going to take down all those scalper listings because they have a policy that pre-sales need to be shipped in 30 days - and that clearly isn't going to happen here.

I still think Kurtwood Smith's Clarence Boddicker is one of the best action film villains, if not the best, of them all. I never tire of his performance in this film.

He definitely should have played more villanous roles. Aside from Robocop, the only other one I can remember was Fortress with Christopher Lambert.

I only played half the demo (the village part) and I'm in no hurry to pick up the full version. I'm sure it's decent but the RE series - to me at least - has never had much replayability after at least two playthroughs (and I've never bothered with their MP modes). So I'm not inclined to hawk out $60 for a limited single-player experience - especially when there are other games out there that have much more content and longetivity for my dollars. I'll probably pick it up when it comes down under $20 like its predecessors.

I don't know why they even bother with demo timers - they always get cracked within a couple of days anyway.

I picked this up last week and rather enjoyed the 5 initial hours I spent playing it. I'll certainly go back to it again once I've tired of Fallout 76 (which seems to be fairly decent now). It's that old problem of too many Steam games and not enough time.

Ugh, didn't know this was going to be THIRD-PERSON. *interest level "detensifies"*

Alien-related multiplayer offerings have been pretty mediocre over the past two decades or so. The only MP mode in the last AvP game which I had fun with was Infestation - and that's pretty much long dead now. A:CM's multiplayer was generally bleh, but I did have a blast with the Bug Hunt DLC for awhile - again while it actually still had players. And this? Not even going to be cautiously optimistic at this stage. I see it's on Steam for wishlisting already so I'll keep an eye on it and see what more is on the table here.

I nabbed this the last time it was free. Played it for a few hours and lost interest. Visually, it looks great but other than that, it's fairly bland and grindy.

I didn't end up with a copy of Diablo 2 until years after it came out. Problem was I couldn't get into it because I'd discovered World of Warcraft by then (which was still in its vanilla days) and D2 felt kinda......empty in comparison (obviously lacking the more social multiplayer aspect of the new MMO).

I'll keep an eye on this but - after the debacle that was Warcraft 3: Reforged - I'm not hyped for it at all.

Man, I still remember their very early 8-bit days when the Darling brothers ran the show. BMX Simulator! Ghost Hunters! 3D Starfighter! And, of course, the entire Dizzy franchise.

Given their track record to date, I'm not holding out much hope for the Lord of the Rings MMORPG they announced some years ago.

You gave them too much credit, Bulletstorm and Aliens definitely aren't their IP.

Fair point. Which makes it even more baffling that Gearbox is somehow worth $1.3b.

Apparently they can't do 40k because they don't have the license. They had to clarify this back in 2012 when they announced the first game in the series.

Ah yes, the "robust IP catalogue" that includes recycling other people's IPs (Homeworld, Bulletstorm), a failed MOBA shooter (Battleborn), two high profile bombs (Duke Nukem Forever, Aliens: Colonial Marines) and a once-decent WW2 franchise that they've mostly consigned to mobile phone ports since 2008 (Brothers In Arms). It would seem that Borderlands is the only "robust" cash cow they've had to milk in the past decade.

I think I've got close to 170 games tied to my Epic Store account since they launched. Every single damned one of them a freebie.

That's definitely true. Cars last a long time in NZ - no matter how old they are. When I was a teen in the late 80s, I was driving around in a 1969 Vauxhall Viva (my first car). Infact most of the cars I owned while living there were probably over at least a decade old.

Ah, bad assumption on my part. Following your partner instead of a job is either better or worse depending on who you talk to.

Well, I'll admit my job here in the US is certainly better than the one I had in England. Sure, it could pay more but I don't hate doing it. Which is always a plus in my books
