Nvidia doesn't want to, or will never get, the clue. Major opportunity yet again squandered. Exactly why I moved to Team Red this upgrade (and I only upgrade every 8-10 years.. (aging 2070 creeps along) The sooner the public gets the memo that Nvidia doesn't care about gamers and jettisons their garbage the better.

Sadly my current rig is ageing from the 2018's so I am a dire need of an overhaul. I just need a graphics card in the right price range to performance to appear. I am REALLY hoping the 9070XT is priced intelligently and usefully so as to go that route as Nvidia is way overpriced for what you get, and it's blatantly obvious they don't give two cents about gamers anymore.

This is definitely not a $70 game. Why such a high price? It just seems like a "been there done that" with less features and a weaker story. Wait a year when it's all patched up, then pay $20 on a deal
It's this price because of the Publisher (Obsidian) and that's what the norm price point leveled out to be these days. No, I agree it's not worth that price, maybe more in the 30-40 range, but that's easy to armchair quarterback and spout. I'm not the one making the Game and have to pay the workers. (they call the whipping until morale improves paying I guess)

At some point the price will normalize based on sales and the grey market. Just don't jump at it now for certain.

I think this is because EA is what we have been horse kicking for years. They are already an accepted crap group. Ubi wasn't ALWAYS this bad, but the toilet is spinning quite rapidly these days.

Shiny ball gets the attention

At what point will the Board and/or shareholders of Ubi realize their CEO is a nitwit and eject them?

Howe for future.. zilch.

Oh please AMD...Make the 9070 and 9070XT priced right and have useable features...

The 50 series is a joke by Nvidia to those that made them what they are today. They care not for us Gaming Plebs, only for the sweet AI cash they roll around in.

Aaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa ... that was a good one.

You wanna buy a bridge on Uranus? Real cheap, too? I can set you up with the deal of a lifetime!
How about rather than thread crapping and trying to bulldoze you point, you just accept the fact that some people disagree with you and move on? I know.. a hard route to take, but some are actually able to think differently than you and wow, its ok.

(and I fully expect that this will also be replied to in some acidic fashion, but thats the internet for you)

I stopped watching Linus when he sold his sold to corporations for quick buck on the backs of viewers and he never looked back. The guy and his brand are slime from all I remember and still see.

Gamers Nexus however has made a history of standing UP for the consumer and its viewers and rallying behind making the world we live in better, regardless of the fallout that may hit them.

Do I care if the two camps can agree, nope, as my views on one is chalk and salt.

Why on earth is everything political for you people? Its a game and it was garbage. Its being pulled because its an embarrassment to the genre. Its as simple as that.

Get off your damn white horses and stop playing the idiot card.

Yep.. staying away from NZXT with more than a 10 foot pole at this point. Corpospeak is strong with this one.

Let me translate for them. We don't care that we are basically stealing from you. Give us your money, lube up and bend over.

Sigh. they had such promise. Flushed it all down the toilet for a quick buck.

While it is ambitious, a game that really requires you to spreadsheet and plan far in advance (or a masters degree in skill point assigning and futures) really is more a chore than a game. Not that I think it needs dumbed down, but simplified in some manner to make it more approachable would be nice. I really don't want to require the use of a Wiki to know the best aspects of my point allotments...

If you don't have to physically work on hardware or be elbow to elbow with companions at work, then there is absolutely NO advantage to going into an office for the sake of being a head in a cube. Covid notwithstanding, working from home for many is a massive const savings and mental savings. As long as you can prove you are still doing your job and its not impacting your quality, there should be no issues.

That being said, so many managers want people back in the office for the mere semblance of mind to prove people are working. that's about the ONLY reason, they want headcount and accountability. Bean counters will always win over employee desires.

God god man. If you want to be negative Nancy that is totally your call. You obviously won't buy something until all the content that will be free is provided, and then want the cosmetic stuff that changes nothing but costs money to be free as well.

The game currently as it is is feature complete. There will be new maps, and additions as time goes along, but hey, they haven't completed them yet. The roadmap is Clear, concise, and makes it extremely obvious as to what is free upcoming DLC and what you will need to cash out for, and the cash portion will have exactly ZERO bearing on the game playability and achievements. Its paint and pauldrons. Top of the bar is free and bottom is not. wow.. hard.

Have I bought it yet? Nope, and that's because I think it may be a bit overpriced and will wait for holiday sales or 25% off or something. I can burn a few months. I WILL get it however as it looks ;like fun. You will obviously NOT buy it and will stand on your soapbox shouting at all that think this play model is better than what we normally get and that's fine... just don't expect a pat in the back for it.
