We went to a furniture store weeks ago to browse the merch and noticed there was a tacky recliner with LED lights under it. I assume this UPSELL line will have ROG logos all over it along with dozens of RBG leds.

I've had my eye on both Tales of Arise and Wrath of the Righteous (I read the Pathfinder Adventure Path a couple of years ago and it was really good). Would rather play them both on the Steam Deck or the Switch so may hold off for now.

I've got Kingmaker, but so many complaints about kingdom management and insane difficulty has kept me from playing. Wrath has a few similar complaints about difficulty, but also bugs. People usually tell those complaining of difficulty to go read up on all the guides and rulebooks and figure our resistances and etc., but I'm like, "Er...sounds like work, not fun."

This is why I stick with standard format monitors (currently using a 32"). Too many games have problems with those weird ultrawides and you end up having to play at weird resolutions or with bars on the ends or something.

I got this game for Christmas and never opened it because I wanted it to be all fixed up and patched before playing. Guess we still aren't there, yet?

Way to blame the victim bro... *slow clap*

That being said...

Quote from the article: "she gets swatted—a precipitously dangerous scare tactic in which trolls call police departments with fake details about a nonexistent threat—multiple times per week."

Goddamn... She had to setup a safeword / password with police so they can know if it's a real threat or not because the cops are used to the flood of false alarms now.

Agreed. The only people to blame are the ones harassing her. The annoying thing is you hear about people getting swatted, harassed, stalked, but you rarely hear of their attackers being arrested and charged with serious crimes, because they are usually out of state. The USA needs to set up a serious cyber crimes unit with nationwide jurisdiction and start throwing the book at all of these people.

Not really. I just don't understand why society bothers to criminalize prostitution when they have all this other stuff going on.

Good point. I find it odd that the party that says the government can't force people to be vaccinated or wear masks because of "freedom" and that the government has no business telling people what to do with their bodies is also the party that wants to legislate morals and values and prevent people from using drugs.

I've got a Samsung S8 Active that I really like. Perfect condition, holds its charge for days, still works great. Not a scratch on it. I got a letter from T-Mobile stating they are going to discontinue the CDMA network and this phone will stop working in January. I just finished paying it off at the end of last year, and I can easily keep a phone for years and be happy with it. They say not to worry though - if I come in, they'll give me a cheapy crap freebie phone as a replacement.

I don't know which game it was, but my brother and I played the crap out of one of the Metal Gear games back when I was a teen. One of the few games we actually bonded over.

I'm kind of amazed at my Epic library. 90% of the games were free, and there are some AAA and AA titles in there. Think I have several dozen games, and I usually skip over the ones I now I'm not going to play, even if they are free.

I got a letter from T-Mobile saying that my Galaxy S8 will stop working in a few months because of changes to their network. This phone works perfectly fine, has great battery life and not even a scratch on it. They said I can come in and get a free phone to replace it, but their free phones are a limited selection of the bargain-bin junk phones that they give away free to people with bad credit and/or new signups. Not really happy about the situation, and might search for a new carrier unless they step up that offer.

Back when I was a teen working at Roses Department Store, living in my dad's basement, gaming on 28.8 dialup, I was introduced to online PVP in a game called Battle Zone. My PC could barely run it, and I was destroyed quite often. I ran out and bought a Voodoo 2 Graphics Card, which at the time was the largest purchase I'd ever made outside of my $800 1984 Nissan Sentra. The game became buttery smooth with graphics that blew me away, and I fragged quite a lot of people, feeling like my $300 (I think) purchase had been totally worth it. I also bought $200 in stock with the company that turned into $800, which I sold at the height of its value, before the company went bankrupt.

Does your laptop have the power to do VR?
I'm guessing the Ryzen 5800h could handle it, not sure how the 125 watt RTX 3060 with 6gb would fare.
Started downloading the 80gb's of Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition to see how it handles a modern game. Slow internet out here at the end of the earth. That test is for another day.
I believe there's a VR tester on Steam or Oculus that can help determine if a machine reaches the requirements.

Have fun with the game!

I remember back when VR first came out, they said a 1070 was recommended for it, so I imagine anything in the following generations above 2060 would handle it fine.

Looks good. I haven't played any KB in a loooong time.

The original series are some of my favorite games of all time. I rarely play through a game more than once, but I think I've played through most of them 2-3 times from start to end. That is until they started reusing a lot of maps/assets in later games. Then it just felt like I was replaying the first games all over again.

Still calling bullshit.
There’s less than 60 posts in the EVGA forum and less than 25% of those are people saying their card died.
I would expect hundreds of posts with half the people complaining their card died if it was a real issue. Oh well, time will tell.
If anything EVGA might, I repeat might, have a 3090 issue. And I doubt it’s a this game only issue.

I doubt there are hundreds of people with EVGA 3090s playing Amazon's MMO.

For that price, it had better vibrate a lot more than just my butt.

Probably depends on the work you do. If you spend all your time in worthless meetings all day or shmoozing clients, working from home is probably worse. If you work in data or other areas where you don't rely on other people often, working from home (at least for me) has been far more productive. I've worked from home since 2018 and twice per year we were required to go into the office for "team building" events (but you still have to get your daily work done). During these periods, I usually work 1-2 hours before work starts, then work all day and when I get done go back to my hotel and work until 9-10 because working from the office was about 1/2 as productive as from home.

So instead of a single player campaign, it's just going to be throwing people into maps like Fortnite and having them complete seasons or daily objectives or other crap?
