Like Nielsen, Liam Neeson is great at playing it straight while saying and doing the most ludicrous things. I think it could work.

computer players able to detect the type of road they are on and to act differently depending on the circumstances

Maybe we will finally be able to have decent dynamic car chases with NPC's.
GTAV's driving AI was hopeless. The first slightly tight corner at high speed and you could lose your pursuers easily.

6 feet is a minimum distance.
I continuously tell people that they are close enough because backing up doesn't help, they just keep coming.

Humanity in a group is dumb as rocks. I constantly see people in shopping isles openly coughing or talking to one another while blocking access. All in their own little world with no regard to fellow shoppers who just want to get in and out... preferably without picking up a contagious virus.

Wait 5-10 seconds for boot up or fuck the internment and all life on the planet? What really pisses me off is the cut and paste greenwashing statements shitheel corps like MS put out in response to issues like these about how they're committed to the environment. Yeah committed to raping it for all they can.
On your point about Corporation virtue signalling, I agree with your sentiment but I'm not sure this falls into that category.

Having said that, I'd like to see Companys get behind unpopular things for a change, like Lower birthrate Initiatives (for the environment) or new starts for ex-convicted criminals...you know, stuff that isn't always popular but actually would make a difference.

A Galaxy Quest sequel? Even if they manage to create a good script, no Rickman is a huge hurdle to overcome. His character's barely concealed disgust at having to play the role was hilarious as was his commitment to it when things turned bad.
Don't want to explicitly mention scenes in case someone hasn't watched it yet.
The film skilfully poked fun at fan's nerdyness and Sci-Fi's wonder.
Oh, and it is funny as hell.
If you haven't seen it, Go...Watch it Now.

I don't understand their issue with Google. You can bypass Google Play via side loading.
Maybe Epic should spend some money educating users how to do so instead of wasting money on that Nineteen Eighty-Fortnite propaganda.

It's just that the vast majority of phone users aren't technical or savvy. Convenience trumps all. It's like if Google was the only place from which you could buy a house west of the Mississippi and you said, "I don't see the problem, people an just build their own home!"

Actually, the vast majority of people aren't technical or savvy. Remember the flashing 12:00 on new VCRs?

Fair points.
Side loading is something most people know little to nothing about. The thing is, it is easy to do. Maybe Epic could do a campaign to draw attention to it.
Hell, I managed it and I'm not particularly phone-savvy. I Haven't touched Google Play.

It is a beautiful looking and smooth running engine.
I bought the first game when it was already old news but fully fleshed out.
This one...EA's antics at the time made sure I would never buy it.
But free? Hell yeah. Happy

I agree that all these service launchers and launchers-within-launchers is annoying as hell though.

With any Colonisation game there's a good chance you're going to draw some controversy.
I hope the creator can make the game they want to.

I think everyone is feeling pretty beaten and raw. I know I've said some things in hindsight I regret.
There's no denying there's a political lean to the left here on this site and passions can make us phrase things in a less considered way. But I appreciate the differing views and hope people don't feel stifled to express them for fear of being dog-piled.

Framerate has been increased to 60 frames per second

I think the term Next-Gen needs to be retired. This is or should be the Current minimum standard. At least for action games.

Now here's another underused franchise.

Indianna Jones and the Emperor's Tomb was an excellent game. The clumsy controls at times could be frustrating, but the melee combat was great fun. The music and sound effects were spot on too.

The first Buffy game for the Xbox/PS used the same engine and had fun melee combat also.

The two celebrity deaths that affected me the most were Stevie Ray Vaughn and Robin Williams.

Yeah, Robin Williams got to me too. A gifted comedian and a great actor. One of my favourite films is the Fisher King, funnily enough also directed by 12 Monkeys director Terry Gilliam. Both excellent movies.

The other death was Danny Kaye. I grew up watching his films on midday tv movies. They were funny and he always came across as warm.
