The hit RPG returns!

Really? I thought this bombed, which is why Rhode Island sued the shiznit out of Curt Schilling.

Actually it did quite well I was on the development team for Reckoning. A common misconception was that Reckoning was developed under 38 Studios and Curt using the infamous RI loan. This is *NOT* the case. All that loan money and 38 Studios work was on their MMO. Reckoning was always a standalone RPG project developed solely at Big Huge Games using publisher funds from EA.

I've been testing it out now for about a total of 3hours with Destiny 2 and I'm actually quite surprised at how well its doing.

2. Based on Google's track record, I don't trust them to stick with it if they deem it a failure.

That's one of my primary concerns with investing too much time and $ into the service.

The real question is:

Are any of you guys trying this?

I'm gonna give it a shot to test the waters and see how it does. My primary interest is just the ability to play across any device and switch between them quickly as needed, and the other benefits that come along with that (no downloads, patching, etc)

Currently yes, you need a pro subscription to access stadia which you get 3months of free if you by the founders pack. Next year when Stadia leaves 'founders' launch there won't be a required subscription to play.

Initially Stadia is in 'founders' launch mode meaning you would need to purchase one of the Founders / Premier packages which comes with 3 months of Stadia Pro (the $10 subscription). Once they go into full launch the monthly fee is optional. Stadia will be a free service where you purchase the games individually and pay for the subscription if you want 4k/60FPS streaming and a few game every once in a while.
