I have played the original multiple times and love it. The atmosphere and the flow are perfect. BM looks amazing graphically but that is about it. Anyways, absolutely love the intro. Probably the best intro ever made of any game so far.
I respect the hell out of what the original revolutionized and gave gaming, but do yourself a favor and if you've never played Half Life or have the itch to try it again, do it the right way. Do it the Black Mesa way, lol. Honestly, Black Mesa shows the vision Valve really had for the game, but couldn't quite achieve back then. Probably top 3 greatest FPS single player experiences I've played.

What are you talking about? Most of the reviews have been pretty positive. And the scores have been in the upper 70's that's not Meh!!

...
And again, a lot of people on Steam didn't have even a measly 5 dollars the world over, there are millions out there beyond the dear USA.

Not to sound insensitive, but would anyone of these countries ever come to our aid if we had a major catastrophe? I'm thinking No!
When are we going to start doing things to help our country? We have a lot of internal issues here that need to be taken care of. I find this kind of insulting and ridiculous that we somehow find it more necessary to help other countries then our own.

Using the authenticator infringes on his personal (insert hardcore political views.)dimsum98 wrote on Jul 11, 2021, 22:32:He didn't learn after the first time? Might want to get him an intervention...
Also the cool thing is that my two battlenet accounts were never hacked vs a friend that refuses to use the authenticator and his had been hacked twice.![]()
Mr. Tact wrote on Jul 11, 2021, 14:04:I was really surprised my authenticator still works now too that was purchased on release date. I also have a backup I bought later on for insurance which is still in its box unopened. I started playing WoW again early this year and have switched to phone app for convenience.
...
On the bright side after more than a decade my BattleNet Authenticator still works, added my phone to the BattleNet account. Annoyingly it would not accept my Google Voice number which does receive SMS messages. Didn't really want to give them my cell number, but I was concerned my authenticator is bound to die eventually, possibly soon. I didn't want to lose access to my account and felt giving up my cell number to them was better than removing 2FA.

"What you're accusing the male employee or boss is serious and can ruin a man's careers. Why don't you grow a thicker skin. He is just joking. You should realize boys will be boys. If you can't take it, you can quit to work somewhere else or be a stay at home mom. Words and actions only hurt if you let it."
Wonderful! Let the modern day witch hunt commence! Let the anonymous accusations fly and let's ruin some lives and careers! I love 2020!

Trying to straddle both sides will not do or the way I interpret what you wrote as victims are guilty until proven right. Take a stand and let us know which side you're.
And if they're actual victims power to them. What isn't right is the liberal mob breaking out the torches and pitchforks and destroying a man's career over an allegation. The gaming industry is particularly conducive to a culture of misogyny and sexual harassment, Ms. Gordon said, because straight white men have “created the identity of the gamer as this exclusive property.” When women, people of color or L.G.B.T.Q. people try to break into the industry, she said, the “toxic geek masculinity” pushes back in ways that often lead to sexual abuse and bullying. That, however, is a load of misandrist bullshit. Mainstream games are made for white men by white men. That may be changing now, but that's been the case since the beginning of computer gaming. There is not a single fucking thing preventing ANYONE else of any race, creed, color, or religion from going out and competing by starting their own business. Jesus, it wasn't the long ago when we were mocked at large for being "geeks". Do I have the right to complain about others co-opting my culture or is that just one more thing that heterosexual white males aren't allowed to say jack shit about?
Avus wrote on Mar 7, 2020, 15:16:That actually does make sense. Devs are probably looking from the perspective of if someone is profiting off their products they should be included in the profit sharing. That of course would mean much higher monthly fees than what Nvidia is charging now.
it is fxxking ridiculous that game developers think they should get a share from a service renting virtual machine to people who put their (PAID) games into it. Game developers really think their customers should double paid for that??
Why the fxxk these developers not pull their games for the last 2 years?
