I have played the original multiple times and love it. The atmosphere and the flow are perfect. BM looks amazing graphically but that is about it. Anyways, absolutely love the intro. I respect the hell out of what the original revolutionized and gave gaming, but do yourself a favor and if you've never played Half Life or have the itch to try it again, do it the right way. Do it the Black Mesa way, lol. Honestly, Black Mesa shows the vision Valve really had for the game, but couldn't quite achieve back then. Probably top 3 greatest FPS single player experiences I've played.

On the bright side after more than a decade my BattleNet Authenticator still works, added my phone to the BattleNet account. Annoyingly it would not accept my Google Voice number which does receive SMS messages. Didn't really want to give them my cell number, but I was concerned my authenticator is bound to die eventually, possibly soon. I didn't want to lose access to my account and felt giving up my cell number to them was better than removing 2FA.

CDPR's biggest mistake was assuming business as usual and standard industry practices of releasing unfinished games due to severe monetary constraints. The company is being made an example of right now and while I wished it wasn't them, I hope other developers will take to heart on what can happen when continuing to choose to go down this road. It's a good thing the government is looking into it. Maybe a law or two will put a stop to this sorry way of doing business in the game developing industry.

It took Steam almost twenty years to reach what it is now and the pictures weren't always rosy. They just need to make a commitment to continue to improve the service to at least the level of Steam and be patient. I'll continue to support Epic and root for its success.

Nothing to do with us customers. We simply just get caught in between. Much like Youtubers get their videos delisted or claimed at a drop of a hat when it comes to music.
Add me as another one that is enjoying the show very much. Cavill is so wooden in his acting but he is perfect for this role especially the physical part. I love his "Hmmm." Sums up the witcher's disdain perfectly and is exactly what he does in the game.

Is there an option to have the old style layout which is much smaller fonts for the desktop? I never liked the mobile layout which is why I do majority of browsing on desktop browsers. Like the new Youtube large thumbnails. It is just awful.
The hypocrites are doing the same thing as what they are against with exclusivity. They only want the game on Steam. You probably heard of the typical warcry of "If it's not available on Steam, it's not a purchase."
