I was afraid of that. Another game where a half assed open world was throw in as an afterthought just to bait some extra sales.
Avalanche just seems to have no clue how to do an open world. They genuinely can't recapture how awesome JC2 was, no matter how much they try.
I'll pick this up on sale at some point.

Pretty much, all the development undone by one or two scenes this season and I feel like this happened with most of the characters. It's not a matter of just not liking what happens, it's about how they got there. I never figured the ending would be a happy one, bitter sweet at the least and down right tragic the more likely, but I expected things to play out in a manner that was consistent. Right now I feel charcacters are just doing things because the plot demands it.
I’m not really a big believer in exclusives,” Kingsley starts. “For me the relationship I have with the consumer is important and it matters to me how many people buy and play my games… We listen to our fans as best we can.
It’s not just compensating us for lost sales on platform X or Y. Fine, that might de-risk the project, but you also have to factor in the cost of the negative reaction from people who are upset by that decision.
There’s a kind of fairness aspect to this, and I want to be fair to the fans who want to buy it on the platform they want. So that’s sort of my feeling at the moment. I guess that could change but there would have to be a bloody good reason.

Initial reviews for Days Gone weren't very good either, but I loved that game. Sometimes these sites are in such a rush to farm clicks from a new release that they shit out an opinion whether or not it's been fully considered by someone who even cares to play the thing.
Yeah, one of the GWJ guys was raving about Days Gone, said the survival mechanics are just enough to be interesting not annoying, said the zombies were tense and threatening, but not overly so, said stealth mechanics were really good. He couldn't figure out why PCGamer gave it 5/10.

The Thrones writers have really changed gear in this latest episode, from being lazy to actually insulting.
What with this and Endgame, it’s turned into a really crappy year for epic story conclusions. I fully expect Deadwood to be a buddy cop comedy subtitled “Cock Sucker and the Lawman.”

I seriously want to know if this runs afowl of bait and switch laws.

There's already a list of modification server admins get with core. It's more than people paid for with RSP in BF1. Also BF1 was only manageable in-game.
I know you old coots love getting your knickers in a twist, but this is a feel good story for the community.

They should have just paid the guy. Claptrap is central to the BL franchise.
From this article, it would seem that he wants royalties from the previous games to work on BL3...now I wouldn't have an issue with this if he weren't originally a salaried employee of Gearbox at the time of those two games and already getting paid to work there (albeit not as a voice actor).
I said it before, despite Pitchford being Pitchford, Eddings is being nothing but greedy knowing just how important Claptrap is and effectively attempting to make himself indispensable.
Taking Pitchford's side? Wow.
Hell no...neither side is a positive one, but that doesn't mean that Eddings is doing the right thing either.
