What could go wrong? I hope it does work out and the game gets published without ruining the franchise. I'll wait and see, but whenever I see TenCent in an article I prepare myself for disappointment.

Well, it shouldn't be too far off now surely; they already have the game engine.
(/s in case it wasn't obvious)

I love it when games that nobody on Earth would come remotely close to saying were "Game of the Year" come out with Game of the Year editions.
It's like digital "Limited Edition"....limited how?

Loved these games. The early ones anyway. I'm hoping that EA don't f*ck 'em up. I bet they're having meetings about how they can add long-term monetisation to them, rather than just selling the games ffs. I don't/won't trust them until they're released.

If you run out ouf money you die in game? I'm talking IRL of course, 'cos if you have money then there are some jpegs of ships they will sell you If you stop spending on their stuff, then your ship's 'health' gradually drains until it explodes.

Like the Aliens series hasn't been trashed enough already? Anyway, won't he be too busy consulting on Gears for Microsoft? Or maybe they just haven't returned his call (for help) yet?

This makes me sad to see the console list with a better selection of good games than the PC .....
Tbh the whole lot makes me sad; they're all cash grabs/transaction (no longer micro). But then I'm an old f*ck who remembers games being games and not vehicles for selling sh*t like weapon skins and hats etc.. Told you, I'm old.

I don't own/I've not played any of these except GTA V, which I got in a sale a while back and I've played it for about 2 hours. It's sh*t imo. They no longer care about the non-MP/shop elements of the game, and Destiny 2, which I got for in one of the Humble Bundles and I've never even launched it. But then I'm more a Factorio-gamer, and not FIFA/Clash of Clans etc..

Exactly...they could have, you know, just released pay for DLC. But hey, whatever; let people buy the cosmetic items and I'll continue to get the DLC for free tyvm.

Various lures included emails informing recipients of the urgent need to open documents to avoid tax penalties, or to view tax refunds with a deadline for processing, among others, researchers noted.

Fucking derp! How difficult is it to stop opening emails - attachments in particular - from unknown sources? Quite apparently. Were you expecting an email with an attachment from them? No? Then it's probably not legit, is it? You can't fix stupid.

It seems quite difficult apparently I did some IT design work for a Council here in the UK a few years ago now, and between me doing the design and going back to implement it a month or so later (TF I was elsewhere doing other work) their whole estate had to be shut down because someone working there had received an email with an attachment called invoice.exe and opened it o_O. It was around the time the NHS were hit by the same malware. How the hell that mail got through I have no idea, but then again, having done work for various councils here over the years, I can see how that would have happened.

I must be in the minority I guess, 'cos I don't mind the new look. Bit jarring though when it's just the library when the main client UI is still the original. but I guess they'd get even more hate if they changed that as well. The one thing I f*cking can't stand though is a) all the F2P shit showing up in the What's New section (I don't mind the section per se) and, and b), this one has been around forever now; if I block a category such as that paedo Anime crap or VR I don't want to see it. Ever. Yet it shows up still as "Contains a blocked word" or similar message, rendering the whole blocking irrelevant.

Anyway, back OT, I don't mind the new look. Could do with a few tweaks and options, but it's OK. I don't have the screen redraw issue either, but I can see how that would really annoy. Memory usage seems OK as well.

EDIT: "Back OT"...and then doesn't even mention the EGS

Holy shit? 2FA give's the ability to track 24/7 to ea, ea, ea... Wtf ?

Literally giving your whole life's worth of information and identification, what could possible go wrong.
WTH? Just in case that wasn't sarcasm (hard to tell 'cos, yea, the internet)...2FA ...Two Factor Authentication. Or MFA, Multi FA.... Username, passsword plus some other method of authentication such as a mobile authenticator, phone call, text message (although SMS has it's issues) etc.. How on Earth is that giving your whole life's worth of information to EA? Don't get me wrong, fuck EA, but that makes no sense.

I use it every day for access to Office 365 and remote access for NetScaler. The customer can't track me (other than knowing when I log in/out) just because I'm using MFA. FYI, soon all 4000 of this customer's users will have to use MFA because they're getting something like 65000 daily phishing attempts linked to Office 365 and other Azure-based resources. Don't get me started on Azure.
