I haven't bought either of the expansions/ DLC's ..., mostly because I was disappointed with how much platform-jumping there was in the game & with how it wasn't as fun to play when you were running/ gunning because the entire thing was more of a concentrated effort of resource management .
Anyone who has played it knows what I mean. Monster #1 takes gun X to kill, so i can get resource B , then switch to skill Y to get health, so I can pick gun C to take out Monster #2 properly , then grenade group of monsters #3 to get x,y,z ,..etc...etc...
I just wanted to run around shooting hordes of demons... but it is like serious work trying to do everything in the right order in this game. I end up more stressed out after playing than I was before I wanted to sit down / play/ & unwind.

Sounds exactly like what my Boss told me that his Big Boss said to him ; We need to find people to cut , even though we are already barebones from Covid / retirements/ & people quitting....
He said the top guys want to see another 10% cut from everywhere in the lower ranks .
Got to look good and get that yearly profit share check ....

We should at least expect, after all these games they put out, to spend at least 0.01 % of the proceeds to a proper anti-cheat system.... you think?

at least they are cool enough to slowly end it so the employees have time to look for a new job.
Pretty rare nowadays for a company to even to pretend to care, much less do it.

Should have just called it - " TF2 hats & artifacts " ...... woulda sold like gold

both AMD & Nvidia literally sending out 20x video cards total a month..... telling us in 1 press release that demands won't be met until maybe end of year & then next press briefing on another new cards being 'released' ...

It's almost like playing Assassins' creed: Valhalla on a PS 1 ..... still kinda fun but brutal on the eyes.

Too bad for all this. It looks like it could have sold pretty decently & made both sides some money ...

A bunch of ex-employees from various places with nothing of note under their belt - put in charge of a massive franchise game..... WHAT could go wrong ?

This is one of those games that I thought looked good , but never got around to buying / playing it.....

If your Space shooter game has people worrying about whether NPC's can properly take a shit after eating a greasy taco - then the story & gameplay needs some work to keep the players involved elsewhere...!!!!

I really, really want this to return to it's roots of actual great gameplay...... but come on....
It is really hard to believe after the last 2 duds that anyone over there is all of a sudden going to be great again.

Especially since these COD the past few years are just so awful too.... in terms of small maps overall , hackers galore, reduced server tick rates,....etc..

It's pretty much the same engine ( modified year to year ) for over 10 + years ...with the same cheating issues everytime ..with the same promises of working on it game to game...
