UUum, yeah. I was excited to hear they were doing a remake entirely - but this does look like 2x gens back from where we are now.

It was a decent enough game for a new series.... Nothing magnificent nor mind-blowing that will leave you absolutely talking about for your lifetime or anything, but worth playing.

I did what i said I would - last weekend I sat down and forced myself to finish the section that i had got stuck on 9 months or so ago. ... It was amazingly hard , so frustrating .. but I did it.
I also finished the game which was not far from where I was.
Pretty cool ending, * no spoiler* just keep watching the credits.....

I don't get it. I watched a few videos of this,..and watched Shroud play it.

Valve just can't get over that number three hurdle can they ..... 
Only interesting thing is how they claim your equipment & operators will be shared between the last game....
Why do they feel the need to completely revamp everything each quarter...?
This has happened multiple, multiple times now. Once people even start to get used to huge changes & redoing builds again -> New announcement, forget everything , we're changing it again.
After being away from it for even a short time - it makes you feel like " why bother" playing when you hear they are about to change everything again and again....
Updating & listening to community ideas is great - but there is a fine line between helping your game & annoying your loyal gamers who just want to have some fun without being totally redoing their characters every few months to take advantage of your latest, wide sweeping changes.
