It continues to amaze me how incompetent Microsoft is. This entire idea of an OS as a service is so freaking brain dead. It almost makes me wish I was a Applehead.

A Liar's Archive, sweet.
I love that the whole archive is fact-checked for what he says, and cross-referenced with what else he's said that contradicts that. It could prove a valuable tool for preventing his re-election or possible impeachment.

Note to self - do NOT buy any LG appliances from this day forward, even if they claim they don't have wireless.

According to McKenzie, there could be several explanations why box office attendance wasn’t influenced. Pirates might simply be continuing their old habits because the catch rate is relatively low, or it’s possible that they’re taking measures to hide their piracy habits. Through VPNS or by switching to streaming or cyberlocker services which aren’t monitored, for example
Or maybe, assuming moderate attempts to curtail blatant mass piracy, piracy has little to no impact on box office revenue. The same as it's always been pirated copy does not necessarily mean a lost sale. I'd say one conclusion you could take from their research is whatever effect piracy is having it is so minuscule it is overwhelmed by other effects.
Doesn't necessarily, yet some absolutely does. If there was no piracy, would the average pirate consume no media? No, he'd definitely pay for more.
More likely, "don't pirate this" warnings just don't deter people that already don't care about their pirating, either because they just don't care or because they spend time moralizing it with things like "it doesn't hurt anyone" or "my pirating it just increases public awareness and will actually make those people money!"
When you "steal" that quart of milk, does another quart magically appear on the shelf in place of the one you took? Thinking that theft is equivalent to piracy, is not thinking at all

Valve's Linux support 'lit a fire' under Microsoft execs, says ex-Valve engineer.
Hmm, I haven't really noticed any extra commitment on MS's part, but I definitely appreciate that SO many games come out these days with Linux support built in.

I thought they fixed the battery issue with a software update though?
They originally said that they'll re-test when apple fix it with a patch, apple supposedly did, then CR said that they didn't feel like re-testing...
Not sure what to think here...
