Thank god for trump voters. Pulling our country back from the edge of destruction and insanity. I mean just look at the sick twisted wacky protesters with vagina hats. Yeah now THAT is some informed well balanced not fake news guzzling mature thoughtful people.

I always find it funny when completely braid dead liberals who suck up fake news from CNN, MSN, ABC, NBC and CBS.. not to mention the WP and the NYT make weak ass attempts at insulting the grown ups in the room.

It would be cute if it weren't so sad.
It obviously worked on you. Turn off Fox and turn on your brain. It will hurt for a couple of minutes but after that you will start healing and the confusion will dissipate.

Whatever else people may think about Trump, he's got the obfuscating part just right. As long as people are talking about his stupid orange hair implants, his clone-baby son, his Slovenian hottie wife, the crowd size at his inaugration and other stupid REALITY TV BULLSHIT etc. he will be busy doing whatever he wants with the Affordable Care Act and anything else that isn't nearly as exciting as whether Melania is taking Gwyneth's advice and inserting Jade eggs into her vagina....

Case in point: read this thread.

Also, those autonomous drone clusters are some fucking scary shit.

I mean, he's the only one (and, of course, people like Danger Dog), discussing the size of the inauguration.

Most people are discussing the size and adamancy of his lies.
How about that promised tax return, oh wait.

I doubt that he'll govern at all. He has no interest in it. He'll leave it to all the folks he just hired, with Pence running the show. He'll be a figurehead, just like Reagan was in his last term when he was in the early stages of Alzheimers.

I was wondering about that. Could the Republicans get sick of his shit, impeach him and put Pence in his place and if so, what difference would that make if he's not actually governing?
Trump is the Wizard, as for the republicans behind the curtains it will be life as usual.
The only reason to impeach him is if he gets carried away with his imaginary position or drumpf gets Nixon paranoia. Impeachment would solve the idiots twitter stream though.

It's funny how all these Trump supporters want everyone to suck it up, live with it, etc when they were denouncing Obama as a Muslim terrorist, or the root of all American problems, or just going for the "typical" blatantly racist stuff, nonstop, for 8 years.

Reality is bias. I don't know how you set yourself apart from Trump supporters, if anything the left is worse. We espouse a lot of ideas we want others to practice, just so long as we don't have to ourselves.

This is the part where you paint me as a Trump supporter to make yourself feel better. Perhaps call me a racist or something else, that seems to be the left trigger reaction to everything.

Trump is the President, it is reality. And reality is bias. I don't like the man but we've got 4-8- years of this, you better get a thicker skin and stop trying to look down on everyone else. There's a reason we got here and you were a part of it buddy, we all were.
There is only one person with orange tinted "onion paper" thin skin, deal with it.

I would have voted for Bane if he had run against Merkel..... that's how disillusioned I am of politics. I thought Trumps election speech was something straight out of a Game. And it's problematic no doubt when video game "speeches" resonate with me far more than real speeches. COD had a few of those, and the trailer they released with the general giving his speech imo could have been 1:1 Trumps election speech.

Weird time to be living in

Go and watch some old speeches by Helmut Schmidt. They prove that not all politicians produce only mindless drivel.

https://youtu.be/aMxJ0Kn1r6o

To all non-German speaking guys here, this is a speech by one of the most intelligent politicians EVER. Unfortunately it is in German, so you might want to skip it.

Unfortunately the party that the SPD now is would never produce a politician of this level, not after Schröder ruined that party. And my favorite politician speeches are still from Gysi... sadly he was in the wrong party. I mean just look at our next chancellors... Merkel or Gabriel, that's like pest or cholera. None of them can incite any emotions, none of them have the gravitas for giving speeches, speeches which would be absolutely vital in todays time to give the German population some guidance and vision for the future.

As I said, I would vote Bane over Merkel, I wouldn't even think twice if that were a choice during election. Sadly it is not. ^^ The only realistic other choice is the cash-bag Gabriel, a politician who lives and breaths for industry interests, and doesn't know what voters are unless he needs to be elected. Bah
The speech writers never get any credit.

Apparently Trumpy just signed legislation creating "National Patriotism Day". I'm not sure why we need that when we have the 4th of July, Veteran's day, Memorial Day, etc., but the title sounds very authoritarian. "Vere eese your display of patriotism, citizen?? Off to zee gulag with you!"

I admire your optimism.

The good news is, much of the GOP establishment doesn't like trump either. The bad news is, President Pence would be at least as bad (for Americans, not the GOP), just in different ways.
I agree, but at least with Pence the childish tweets would stop. fucked either way we are.
