Hoop to the rescue.

In Russia wall hit drone.

In Russia "some settling of contents may occur during shipping" applies to more than breakfast cereal.

Dear Donald,
Have I got a wall for you.

Did we bury the lead in this headline? Jon Snow wants to meet with Zuckerberg. Remember what happened the last time Jon Snow met with the leader of a powerful organization?

Spoiler alert! [They got screwed. Literally!]

Are you sure it was Hawking that said that? I seem to recall he was always pretty firmly in the time travel = impossible camp.

And that's why I'm no super genius. Mr. Tact explains what I meant much better than I could.

I'm kind of torn between Pi day and Tau day as Tau day is on my birthday. However, given the choice of more pie or birthdays, I think I'll go with the pecan.

So long Stephen Hawking. I always felt smarter after hearing his theories. Unfortunately, like Chinese food, I'd often lose what tenuous grasp I had on concepts half an hour later. Preservation of information inside black holes anyone?

The only thing that seems to have stuck was when he said (paraphrasing) that, much like trying to go south of the south pole, you can't go back to a time before the beginning of the big bang.

To me, among Hawking's greatest attributes was no matter how bad a hand life dealt him, he always had something to contribute. On the other side of the coin, I think he desensitized the public (in a good way) to people with obvious physical disabilities. Thus helping us to look at the person instead of their appearance.

R.I.P. Stephen. May you wake up in a parallel universe where you can run with the bulls. Or have the bulls run with you.

Never kick the bull in today's ootb media.

So far, I haven't met anyone who hasn't liked Bright. It's not the best movie, and it has its flaws, but it's fun. I feel like the critics were watching a different movie, and I wonder if their review copy really was different somehow.
I enjoyed bright and the price was right.

Same. Better story/characters than half the shit Hollywood shovels out as blockbusters. It's not amazing by any stretch, but unless you can't stand Will Smith playing a Will Smith character, it's entertaining to watch.

I was on the fence at at first because seemed too much like Will Smith's Bad Boy meets Alien Nation. But once it got going it was a fun ride.

That's just the one they caught out. Apparently most if not all of Trumps nominees had to pass some sort of 'litmus' test in ideology as opposed to actual ability to provide fair trials.

This, the FCC, the attacks on media, going after Mueller, racial and religious bullying from THE bully pulpit, buddying up to Putin...I wonder if an actual Russian plant could do more harm to this country than what we're seeing now.

To Blues point about time flying by, 2018 and 2020 cannot come fast enough.
