I've never actually finished a FO game, despite hundreds of hours playing them. Did Vault-Tec actually launch the missiles directly or just persuade governments to do so? The last part of the final episode implied, at least to me, that they were going to do it themselves.

Ahh, that, Its unsure. its never directly stated. In some games you can read reports of how they think China launched first. Vault Tec was also shown to not be ready for the bombs to drop. Seeing as how Mr House never got the chip in time, several vaults were unfinished, etc. The current theory is China's better stealth planes managed to hit first and the US retaliated. Its VERY open to interpretation.

The Fallout from this Fallout controversy is highly radioactive!

It was stupid to have shady sands blown up. If you want to write the NCR being in decline then do so. If you want to write how the NCR is on the ropes? Then do so.

This moment just shows how lazy the writing can be on things. And how Bethesda never moves on. The best comment I’ve seen that resonates with me from the Fallout community is, “The problem with Bethesda and Fallout is how it’s always Post Apocalypse and never the Post-post Apocalypse” the world keeps being reduced to its original first game state and nothing grows.

I feel that applies here. When Fallout 2 hit you got the picture of how things moved on. The BoS a shadow of its former self, the formation of the NCR. Super mutants ether being destroyed or moved far from the coast. Same with ghouls. Then comes New Vegas and the incredible job obsidian did with everything. The old factions grew. New ones were discovered. Each with their own backstory and ideals.

Now it’s all just wiped away. Nothing matters. And yeah they can do what they want to the story, it’s theirs to tell. I do not have to agree with it. I won’t go and threaten the production/director on twitter or some dumb shit. I just remain quietly disappointed with the whole affair.

Still not happy with the NCR in the show. Unless it’s mentioned in the next season as to why it turned out like it did.

I noticed some glaring continuity errors though. The scene in the bar where Goggins talks to his friend, the friend can be seen switching body positions back and fourth and not matching up to the previous angle. Once you see it you cannot unsee it.

I thought buying post-release DLC was a tip? Well F this clown anyhow. Tip culture as a supplement to a working wage is garbage even at its roots.
