Man the comments section of that article is filled with dildos. Blaming those trixy womans! For stealing all those jobs from such well functioning males such as themselves. Even trotting out that bollocks about abstinence and not gaming. Dumbasses the lot of them.

It’s just more scapegoat-ism. As per usual. Instead of realising the old methods of employment from 100 years ago are all outsourced to automation and now AI. Long gone are the days of fulfilling employment anywhere. The article does good job pointing that all out.

So this guy was willing to leave an IPhone unlocked in what is effectively a public restroom on an airplane. Where did he hide it? Was it hidden? Left on the sink or something? Did nobody else grab it and take it to a flight attendant or steal it? And by flight attendant I mean any of them. Unless he was making sure to intercept his phone anytime someone pointed it out,

And yeah the Legal Defense here is bull. Not all kids are going to speak up when they see something weird like a phone sitting there. They can be shy enough to think someone just forgot it and will come back for it.

Atari is like me at a Flea Market, finding deals on old things that I would put into a collection, holds some sentimental value, or I could conceivably use.

I was aware of the intellivision back in the day. But my family had a caleco as our first „home console“ I had Ataris cause they were dirt cheap. But then the NES came along and well that changed everything.

So what would be the response to an invasion of Taiwan? Depending on the current President at the time it could vary wildly.

Would the US defend or would they sit by? Would China even actually invade at all?

This must be what the Cold War felt like, so much uncertainty. And in the end only a brief break during the 90s before Putin F‘d it all up again.

I usually just pump what I need to know into ether google search or DuckDuckGo and deal with finding what I need from there. I do not see a giant need for this tech.

However on the job site I could. If you need information about a product on demand and cannot wait for an expert to swing by. At work a powered assistant could be useful.

In my day to day? No. I see myself not needing it nor wanting this device in my life.

On a side note;
How much force can those wings take before they snap off.✈️💥🔥

Plane wings are simultaneously strong and flexible. The old days of hard fixed wings are long gone in big passenger jets.

The Boeings I flew over the Atlantic Ocean with, its wings were bouncy on the ground and rose high up while in flight. Relative to my viewing position in the plane that is.

I will be hopping onto airbus planes for my vacation in a couple months. So I weirdly feel zero angst over any sort of problem that could happen. Finnair has a solid reputation!

So two things. First off The term Cinematic Universe really gets on my nerves and do not know why.

Secondly I wonder if a Super Mario Brothers 2 movie will be as weird as the real Super Mario Brothers 2 NES Game was?

If I can't get it on GOG or torrent it, I'm not buying it. Pirated software is the only consumer protection left. How ironic is that?

I wish it wasn’t, the amount of talent and creativity games that goes into visual entertainment deserves money for what they do. And im more then fine with paying people for there work.

However I do not like paying full price for a new car only to have it treated like a rental car. At least with a rental car you know it’s going to have to go back at some point.

Fine an end of life plan for a game that needed a lot more work. Offline? Super cool. Good way to end a game.

Now about sticking to that price though…

It’s basically saying yeah we released a broken unready live service game ahead of time but we still deserve its full price for a now dead game. The sheer nerve of these developers though more then likely the publisher here.

why would a company be required to keep spending money on a product that worked for when it was released and people purchased it but now is no longer being sold and no longer generates any revenue?

They don’t. The whole idea of this is when a game ends, for a company, they put in an end of life plan. Kill server/online requirements. Remove any bullshit and make the game downloadable for a time afterward. Not permanent, but enough for people who paid can grab it and keep for themselves.

Think of it as a, we want a functioning end of life plan instead of the current „thanks for your money, now fuck off“ that the streaming and gaming industries seem to like now.

Don't be too hard on them. The fucking government of the United Kingdom can't even be bothered to understand what we are asking for. Why is everyone so goddamn dense?! All we want is when a company decides to shut off their servers to stop spending money that we are left with something that we can play on our own. How hard is that to understand?

The UK is a borderline lost cause anyhow with how not so great the consumer protection laws are there. Hopefully France and Germany can pull something through and maybe the EU. Australia in a pinch. If these are exhausted and fail to make any meaningful change I feel we will never actually own anything we purchase (entertainment wise). if that is the case I feel the costs of what they are trying to rent to us is set too high.

It’s more likely Boeing is a „too big to fail“ thing. They are getting demolished by Airbus and having some sort of scandal would hurt their global standing. And the US probably didn’t want to be the direct cause.

They know that if normal people sue them they can just settle out of court or bully them into being quiet. Or pull some suicide cover ups. If the government actually went after them? Then they would be trouble they could not get out of.

And yeah it sucks. Boeing is a trash company in my eyes now.

While you all complain for nothing I'm happily playing Fallout 4, just have a couple essential mods installed like Load Accelerator and Raw input and they work fine. It's running great no issues other than the occational Bugthesda save reload.

Is there a mod that turns it into an actual Fallout game though?

Like I mean seriously, has anyone considered making it more in the spirit of Fallout 2?
Give the characters some depth, make the writing a little wittier, add more room for meaningful choices, fill in some plot holes, etc?

So… Fallout: New Vegas?
