The most disappointing moment of my entire trip to Europe last time was going to McDonalds in Paris specifically for the Royale With Cheese and it did not exist. That would have made my life complete. Just so once, just once, when someone quoted that line from the movie, I could say, 'Yeah. I've had a Royale With Cheese.'
One of the company’s aims, the report suggested, was to amplify efforts by Republicans to link Joe Biden and the Democratic party to the Chinese Communist party (CCP) and harden US public opinion against China.

My sister in law constantly posts “I love vets” and “remember our veterans” copypasta trash on Fecesbook. And she does it so much that the actual Memorial Day has less impact on me.
I wish she actually cared, instead of cheap meaningless lip service. She just assumes they fall off a cliff instead of her tax money going to pay for veterans care.
And being outside the US for let me see… 10 years now, holy crap, I have to be reminded when Memorial Day occurs.
It often seems that veterans get fellated by gun-toting, Bible-thumping weirdos lacking any real understanding of what they had to deal with, and disrespected by clueless, immature, inadvertent communist sympathizers who just assume that they went to war, so they must be bloodthirsty savages. It's enough to make anyone feel a little disillusioned about celebrating memorial day - to me it feels like just another front on the modern culture war. I'm sick of it myself.

Fury Road is perhaps the greatest action film ever made, so if Miller actually felt that way, it might be somewhat warranted.
Man Raiders of the Lost Ark and Terminator 2 have nothing on an extended car chase which granted has excellent cinematography but then again so do some music videos and commercials.
Bullit? The Seven-Ups? Fury Road was just way over the top. I prefer action films with at least one foot based in reality.
