I raided from the beginning all the way through Cataclysm, left when they were introducing the Pandas (that's eight years). Went back just before Legions, only to find out I liked Warlords.. oh well. Played most of Legions as a causal. Left before Battle for Azeroth came out, haven't been back yet. Really can't imagine going back..

So I logged back in a few months ago after being gone for 8+ years. I have resumed my pre-raiding WOW lifestyle of casual play and jumping between alts and am enjoying it, even if sometimes its a month between logins due to my job. This coming change is long overdue but so very welcome. When I log in next it should be the single biggest positive change to my gameplay experience since the original expansion.

You libruls used to love musk when he saved the world by inventing the car elektric,
But now you hate him because he wants to prosecute the real criminals who stole from him.
Did I do that right?
Broadly speaking, its recommendations involve expanding presidential power, purging federal agencies of career employees, and replacing them with Trump loyalists. The mandate calls for dismantling entire federal departments — including the departments of Commerce, Education, and Homeland Security, the latter of which would be replaced with a new agency that is more extreme in its mission and less subject to oversight. Project 2025 also urges Trump to reverse the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of abortion pills, eliminate policies that promote “abortion as health care,” outlaw pornography, and shut down “telecommunications and technology firms that facilitate its spread.”

I almost believe when he said he was done with being in the lime light, that this became his planned way to do it. Not the action itself, but him admitting to it knowing that he'd get canceled out of existence. Nah, I'm probably giving him too much credit for this, carry on with his collapse.

Don't remember this when it happened.
Viral video of flight diverted to Dallas shows passenger climbing seats while others sing hymns
and a youtubers hot take Sorry no scams or murders today. Just an average Frontier Airlines flight
Regardless of the altitude, I would have been looking for the exit just to have some peace and quiet.

On a much more serious note, with Joey Chestnut going all full woke vegan and eating carrot/broccoli dogs.
What does everyone have planned for July 4th, I'd really like to know how people in England celebrate it.

You could possibly make this argument in a vacuum and in a "six degrees to Kevin Bacon" way, but you really need to read over your press releases Ubisoft. I have to think that if you did someone on your team would realize how incredibly stupid it is to say things like this. Because we don't live in a vacuum and many people nowadays don't even know who Kevin Bacon is much less ever played the silly game named after him. 😜

Not sure how less people working at a place makes meeting deadlines or roadmaps in this case better.
But here we are up is down and black is white because some corpofascist says so.
I imagine it's to offset hiring in other positions. Lay off 33 people who aren't needed so you can hire 20 people in more critical positions while still being seen as reducing headcount (something they love to see, layoffs make them hard), but at the same time speeding things along on some project that needs it.
