Thats a pretty ugly list of things. I'm learning the ropes of being employed in Germany atm. And one of the shocking things I have seen so far is one company that sells food, if you work there you are required to shop there. Company even goes so far as to hire Private investigators for such things.

But its also one of the most high wage paying employer's in the area. So take the good with the bad there.

7. Contractor Thing Jul 17, 2015, 16:41 ZeroPike1

I've seen first hand what the Contractor label can do to a person. I worked overnights full time for 40 hours a week. They had a contractor to wash the floors and that contractor Sub-Contracted to someone else, then they subcontracted to the actual person washing the floors.

He was not only required to do a decent job, but had no holidays, or nights off he was required to be there 5 hours a night and more if he was behind. He was only paid for 5per night even if he had to stay late or not. Its a brutal system and a really grey as hell way to employ people without employing them. Bloody Joke.

9. Cord-Cutters Are Not All Young Hipsters Jul 17, 2015, 04:38 ZeroPike1

I had to decide how to trim back my Time Warner bill for my mother before I moved. Turns out Road Runner internet was only worth $10 off the bill for the HD tv and phone package they sold us.

My mother who has to have her 24/7 news for whatever reason needs the bundle. If we could Ala'Carte the channels would be super cheaper I'm sure. But knowing how bad they cheat people, they would raise the bill anyways.

1. Netflix Jul 16, 2015, 10:25 ZeroPike1

I do not understand why. I've looked through Netflix's catalog and its really kinda crap. Maybe it is because I'm in Germany, but between Amazon, Maxdome, and Netflix I'm really starting to see the selections are bordering on terrible.

I streamed Fargo the series which was good over Netflix. But after that just there is ether nothing or its limited and moving in and out of rotation. Just leave me a damn catalog of movies/series that are sitting on a HDD somewhere and I can access on demand. That's something to pay monthly for.

Even if its not super scarry or something I'm interested in following. Watching MattPatt from Game Theory on YouTube try to unravel this games lore is totally worth it for me.

yeah love and hate.

He Loves being handed money for an unfinished product hoping it gets finished.

He hates that he's expected to finish said product in a working functional state.

Sums it up.

Derek has a less then stellar history in the older PC gaming community. I see why they let him have a voice, with his history with his own overreaching(at the time) space game. I will not listen to him however, his past is one he cannot run from, in my eyes.

In a cynical way its true, I can see that the game is like as they describe. But its GTA, its not like your going to do empire building of say Civ5 or super story centered play of say Dues Ex for example. Its GTA, if that's not your thing don't be a editorial jerk about it.

Having dumped alot of hours into World of Tanks, and understanding there games are horrific pay to level or grind for eternity based systems. I dread how bad this will be, looks kinda fun though. But if WoT is anything to go by, you'll grind to about Tier 4-5 and just hit a wall of XP grinding. And toss fun out of the window.
