Was the reason because they keep tacking on crappy multiplayer features at the expense of the games actual development?
Nope, and if you had bothered to RTFA you would have noted that "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus doesn't have any online functionality at all."

I take that back. I finally had to replace the sparkplugs and wire harness, and valve cover seal from the factory ones.
I had to replace the dome lightbulb in my Accord after 6 years, what a piece of shit.

Yes, amazon really needs tax breaks, effectively subsidising the company, as they are really poor and don't have much money.

See how competition is good for the free market corporate welfare?
Corporations are people too, just with better tax breaks.

Would you rather they gave 3 billion to foxcon?

This doesn't mean they're unreliable, as these days nearly every brand is pretty damn reliable,

I'd have to say that's a fair statement. I also think it depends on how one treats their vehicles. I've had pretty darn good luck with most of them, even non-mopar brands.

My Son-in-law has had nothing but trouble with his Diesel RAM... but he's modified the heck out of it, so he keeps blowing transmissions. He accepts that as part of the performance modifications he has made. /shrug
I am sure your Son-in-law has looked into this, but there has to be a couple of shops who specialize in building "tough as hell" transmissions for modded ram diesel pickups.
Of course they won't be cheap but neither is replacing a blown tranny.

Part of me wants to say "People have finally learned to stop giving Apple 800 dollars every year for literally just the same phone with some teensy tiny bit faster hardware?" but in reality it's just because they're all waiting for the X and are salivating at the thought of handing over a thousand+ dollars.
why give them 800 for a phone when you can just shell out $700 for a keyboard.
The path from “a piece of dust” to “$700 repair” is terrifyingly short.

In other words, it is somewhat nihilistic and arrogant to put a great deal of faith into believing people who, with average lifespans of 70 years, say the sun will turn into a red giant and destroy the earth in 5 billion years. In contrast, I choose the Bible's positive message of a future where our planet remains forever powered by the indefinitely lasting power of the sun.

Compared to the arrogance of choosing to believe people who, when they wrote the bible, had an average lifespan of around 40-50 years, were basically sheep herders, and drilled holes in peoples heads to let the demons out when they had headaches and thought that illness caused by germs were acts of God or demons?

We just saw two neutron stars smack into each other using multiple detection techniques, proving part of Einstein's theories, and ushered in a new era of astrophysics.

It doesn't take faith to know what will happen to our sun, it just takes attention because we see it happening in the rest of our universe. If you're not looking, that doesn't make you right.
That neutron star story was really cool. It's so amazing Einstein could predict that. Also, I had no idea that's how gold formed.
Someone will probably just spill a tanker truck full of aqua regia on it.

I gotta call bullshit on this article about the most popular fast food chain in your state. There are a total of 35 In-N-Out's in Texas, all along IH-35 and not a single one in the 4th largest city in the US, Houston. we got a problem
I bet Chick-Fil-A is also the winner in the Lone Star State.

Also, don't forget that certain genres are almost always single player or primarily so like strategy. Civ, Stellaris, Cities: Skylines, Offworld TC, Total Warhammer, XCom, Endless Space, Homeworld: Deserts, all AAA games released over the past couple of years.
I bet Electronic Arts could fix that.

Really great news! Lighter

Iirc, the drm was a problem and this will surely help with stability. I'm guessing someone will make a mod/folder with all the old songs to be added in the drm free version at GOG. I've got the disks and Steam version, both with the old music.
Yeah I hate these licensing agreements. Once the music is in the game, it should be illegal to remove it. It breaks the artistic vision.
I hear they are removing Vangelis from the original Blade Runner and they're also gonna colorize the beginning of "The Wizard of Oz"

I get all sorts of results when I search from the startmenu in Windows 10. Applications, documents, folders, etc.

When you search, at the top right of the results there is a filter option. What is this set to? Mine is "All, most relevant on this PC", it resets to that each time I open the search menu. The three options at the top left (apps, documents, settings) are all toggled off.

Windows Search Indexing is notoriously awful. Totally inconsistent despite similar settings, often failing to index content its been pointed at and frankly a general downgrade from previous iterations. I don't even use it anymore, I just use Everything instead.

Gamers are not a homogenous group. Most people are irrational and technology illiterate. Once publishers discovered people are downright idiots this was inveitable, as soon as mmo's became a thing, the rest was inevitable.

Big companies just wait for a new generation of kids to grow up with the policy and most kids are stupid beyond comprehension.
That is one tired broken record you keep playing on repeat. Anything different on Side B?
