I heard the most recent season wasn't very good (I'm still on S2). So maybe this is just the straw that broke the coal mine.

On the other hand, we won't be getting any stories about how Spacey grabbed Robin Wright's breasts or forced Kate Mara to give him a BJ.
I guess there is an upside to every story.

According to an editor of The Hollywood Reporter, the decision was apparently made months ago to cancel after this next season. So while I'm sure Spacey's misconduct coming to light prompted the announcement coming when it did, it probably didn't have anything to do with the underlying decision.

The series has kind of run its course anyway. They've done just about everything.
You're correct, the show was scheduled to be canceled before this came out. Since I have only seen a couple of episodes I won't miss it.
Looks like Netflix is considering a House of Cards spinoff. Can't wait for the Kevin Spacey walk-on.

the end is nigh for this flash in the pan game /s

I wonder if you combined all the Ass Creed versions, if PUBG would still be #1. Probably would.

Has yet to be released on consoles.....insane.

Has yet to even be released in its final form. We all know the "successful" track record for early access games.

The game is pretty much done. Just fine tuning and setting up monetization.
You know that, I know that, everyone knows that.
It seems after you put a grand in one unfinshed game and throw away money at a lot of other failed KS ventures you no longer use critical thinking.
We all know his "unsuccessful" track record with early access games.

Because Bill Gates donates insane amounts of money to charities, or invests them in technologies or foundations that can help people.

I used to hate Bill, but after he donated his fortune, I changed my mind. He's one of the great true philanthropists of our day.

I am not sure about Bill and Melinda Gates, but a lot of billionaires and millionaires use their foundations for tax evasion and to overturn politics they don't like. Like e.g. George Soros is giving money to organizations that follow his intentions no matter what the US or the country he is trying to influence is thinking about it. So there is always two sides to the story about foundations and charity.
That's true for many like Soros, Kochs, Adelson, etc. I've never heard of Gates or Buffett using their money that way.

Yeah, unlike the names you mentioned, he isn't trying to use his money to influence politics in a way no non-billionaire ever could.

Soros and the Kochs are bad, but for some reason Adelson makes my skin crawl above all others.
Let's not forget the tRump Foundation which was proven to be a scam.
The proof was found in his tax returns, oh wait.

Or pull your head out of your ass and realize that https://www.pcgamesn.com/eve-valkyrie/ccp-vr-development reported that number.
You never ever RTFA, so no surprise there.

And following the other link that blue provided, if you use google translate you get,
"The company affects about 100 employees of the company by more than 370, of which about 30 in Iceland. However, their components will be offered to move between offices. CCP employees were notified of the changes today."

What happened today proves that this administration and it's enablers are in big trouble.

These indictments are just the beginning. As his associates are rounded up I expect tRump will continue attacking Mueller, Muslims, Gold Star Families, Hillary, fellow republicans, members of congress, freedom of the press and President Obama.

He passed the threshold for impeachment long ago, time to make the popcorn.

ROFL. I stopped counting the times I chatted something up with one of my contacts on FB only to be bombarded minutes later with ads and posts on the very topic we were discussing.

CALLING BULLSHIT

The article was about LISTENING using your phones microphone and not about the text you enter.
If anyone is stupid enough to communicate through a keyboard on any of fakebooks products, well it says right there in the TOS that they own your written words, you should not be surprised to see ads etc...

Part of America's debasement has been slowed.
Once again a judge halts another tRump brain bleed.
A United States District Court judge on Monday blocked a White House policy barring military service by transgender troops, noting that the policy was not based on facts, but instead on a desire to express disapproval of transgender people generally.

quote="Creston"Oct 30, 2017, 16:57"15604]Anyone have a recommendation for a good/great set of speaker? My Klipsch are starting to give out after 12 years, and I'm looking for a new set.

They're 5.1, but I'm not sure I really care enough about that to go back to it, I'd probably be just as fine with some excellent 2.1s.

Anyone have any suggestions?
They still make the 2.1 Klipsch

Right, but often studios will release a Denuvo free version after it has been cracked.
Someone surely has done some before and after comparisons of cpu usage. Anyone got any links.

And no, I'm not looking for the one Rime allegedly runs faster after Denuvo DRM stripped out.

The following is from yesterdays ootb which someone obviously failed to click.
https://www.popsci.com/bill-nye-anti-science-twitter

Question/statement from a twitter nutjob:
Any claim that humans can control the great forces of nature that create climate to a definitive degree is incredible arrogance.

A: Humans actually now move more rock and soil than mother nature does. And we have affected the chemistry of the atmosphere very, very fast. Nature would change a few dozen parts per million over a few millennia. Humans have changed it 30 parts per million over the past two and a half centuries. No, humans had to have a huge effect on the Earthnot only its atmosphere, but actually the soil and rock itself. So while you think its arrogant, actually youre mistaken. Humans are changing the climate. Im sorry youre working so hard to deny that.

More on climate change and dubunking the anti-sciencers.
