Will it still use the same shitty pop-in / ultra-low fidelity textures tech that was supposed to revolutionize gaming?

Rage had some fun missions, and unlike most people I even quite liked the cars and such, but by and large it was a terribly forgettable experience.
It's one of those games I started several times but never finished.
The pop-in issue never bothered me that much (when you have a shitty pc you can overlook a lot of issues.

Will probably take a pass on numero dos.

What the what? Syfy cancels The Expanse
That blows. Hopefully someone else picks it up.
Shows are cancelled for a variety of reason with the primary ones being ratings and profitability. The Expanse most likely got dropped due to the "nature of its agreement for the series, which only gives the cable network first-run linear rights in the U.S."

That Predator trailer was generic as hell and lacks any of Shane Black's style. Not at all encouraging.

Yeah...that trailer was about as vanilla as vanilla gets. Disappointing. This particular sc-fi franchise is such a mess.

Predators was solid, it had problems but was a step in the right direction after years of trash. Unfortunately between casting Olivia Munn and Benecio Del Toro leaving the production, this looks like its going to the dumpster.

The plot details just got leaked to reddit and seem pretty accurate based on the trailer, even worse than I thought.
Predators was the bomb.
But those crossover AvP movies. shudder

OBEY our sanctions or else. murica, because we never ever do shady shit.

If our government, a US citizen or company does shady stuff or fails to take proper precautions it mostly fucks americans, except when it doesn't.

I blame the NRA for school shootings.

You're in a good boat with most democrats then. And also out of touch.
Remember to kiss your children every day before they head off for school. It should protect them, but if it doesn't at least the thoughts and prayers sent your way will console you should a NRA approved school shooting end their lives.
Stay in touch little buddy, you'll get better.

Hardly. First NS, doesn't have much of law enforcement outside of the RCMP(federal). That's provincial government(NS) sending the RCMP(federal police) after the kid, the media spotlight getting large enough that it was in fact a government IT fuckup was the cause of it, and they had no recourse to try and save face public backlash. If it had been in the USA, the same would likely have happened. And it has happened before as well.

On the other hand, you now have people being threatened for using the wrong gendered pronouns in Canada. Much freedom.
If anyone deserves less freedom, it's you. While you're enjoying your loss of freedom look up Aaron Swartz.
It might be hard for you to understand since it does not have anything to do with a pedo pizza parlor.

Sigh. Sigh

Hey KX. Fascinating podcast with Sam Harris and New Testament scholar Bart Ehrman.

As a general rule, I avoid anyone with the label "New Testament scholar." Their knowledge is based on a Constantine-era corruption of the scriptures. (Aside: I know 5-year old children who know more about the Bible than these people.)

Bart got his M. Div from Princeton Theological Seminary. He learned ancient Greek and Aramaic so he could read the original manuscripts. The guy's a true scholar. As someone who has studied the bible a lot, thought you might find it interesting, even though he'll probably have a lot of takes you'd disagree with.
A cafeteria cultists sick and twisted view of X-chianity will never stand up to someone like Harris who has actually studied the subject.
