Not a useful article. The guy says "stop making your own boards, there are companies that can make them quickly and cheaper than you can yourself!"

And then doesn't even post a link to a single one of these companies.

Well, they also provide a good reason that they're not linking a company.

It seems more like a PSA for those not in the know enough. Not everyone getting into hobbies like these know the extent of the options available.

Be sure you mean 'chess-like' and not just 'chess'.

Look at the video. Whatever they're playing, 'chess' it ain't.

Too soon! Too soon!

They should have waited longer before releasing this!

1. Require insurance companies cover mental health 100% for all plans. Currently most insurance companies only cover it partially, if at all.

2. Implement some common sense changes in gun laws, supported by 80-90% of Americans: back ground checks, closing the gun show loophole, etc.

3. Implement education reforms so that poor people have more economic opportunity. As well, gun violence is perpetrated disproportionately by the poor and less educated.

4. Implement economic reforms so that the decades long increase in income inequality is reversed.

I love how robotic and soulless this response is. Almost like it was pretty well copied and pasted from a candidate website, with just enough of the wording changed around to make it not a completely obvious job.

This just in: soft-science disciplines like psychological and sociology basically worthless in their "official" pronouncements.

Sad to hear Hardline is having problems. It was an interesting direction to go in for a BF game, but something just felt 'off' about it when I played the beta. I guess things haven't improved.

I can't really fault anyone for trying something like this with their game. Indie games are supposed to be experimental, right? Experiment!

People obsessed with their religious beliefs can still make the time to play video games.

See: most atheists.

God has blessed him? So what? Did he curse him before? Is that how that works? Fucking religious kooks I swear.

Atheists freak out against invocations of God so much it practically lends credence to movies like The Exorcist. 'The Power of Christ Compels You!' could easily send some atheists screaming bloody murder and spitting pea soup.

As for the FNAF Guy, good for him. I'm glad he found success. Only bad part of his advice is, why in the world is he recommending college? It played little role here.

I always get the impression that Pitchford's team can't actually make anything competent anymore. I know not a thing about the company's internal workings, but it just really seems like whoever used to be there who had talent is long gone, can't be replaced, and now they're reduced to milking things as long as possible without making anything actually new (as in, even Borderlands on a reasonably newer engine.)

Chaotic game, but fun and actually unique-feeling in terms of gameplay, rather than being just another FPS game with a thin veneer over it. I've played sharks and divers so far, and had slaughter experiences and overwhelmed experiences on both sides. Not long enough to tell if one side definitively has an advantage over the other, but long enough to know it's pretty damn fun.

That's dangerous thinking there, citizen.

That said, the model for Guild Wars 2 was made clear. Pretty close to the GW1 model. People are whining too much here.

I wish more devs would respond to these "controversies" by saying they don't really care about the opinions of easily-offended mutants.

The real question to ask with Hololens is similar to what should have been asked with iOS/Android.

'How is this a better way to play the games I already play?' is the wrong question.

'What kind of games does this let me play, that aren't even on the radar right now?' is closer.

I played through and beat Shadow Warrior 1, so I'm kind of surprised they joke about the constant barrage of Wang jokes. The game had a sense of humor, but the plot was a surprise.

Yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir.

Anyone who thinks that something being 'uplifting' to someone means it's off-limits for criticism is fragile to the point of absurdity.

If women and "minorities" (really, particular racial groups, who are only a minority in certain areas) don't enjoy the games that exist, developers can try to target them. We don't need to "fix" games that don't appeal to them.

And to get in on the empty nigh-mysticism, "Not every game is a game that a woman or a minority is going to want to play. And there's something wonderful about that."
