Actually I suspect moreso at this point that Martin has either lost interest or pulled a Robert Jordan and wrote himself into a corner, and getting from where he's at to where he eventually wants to be is proving too much for him.
He needs to die and have his series finished by Brandon Sanderson, like Jordan did. Would probably boost his career immensely, although he'd miss out on the benefits.

Off topic.. but how did Jordan write himself into a corner?

Funny, as an author I find his books lacking. There are much better fantasy writers out there that write far more interesting books!

Yep.. like Stephen R. Donaldson.

Whos books have never been turned into anything yet are the most awesomest stories out there.

Who fucking cares how fast your 5G download speed is if you don't get rid of data caps or at least give everyone a couple hundred gigs a month limit.

I also bought Heavy Rain and John Wick Hex...

Sounds to me like a different color store front does not matter to you.
My local Bodega was painted Egg Shell, when they repainted it 7 years ago they changed the color to Off White and I quit going there for several days. And now just recently they changed the exterior color to Ivory. eff those guys

As long as they don't paint it Pink or Fuchsia.

This looks like total shit compared to the rage engine even with the texture issues it had at launch.

And whats with all the pink bullshit?

That both Timmeh and Walt brought up the color issue tickles me pink. Way to show your colors guys.

It just looks out of place.. It kills the world atmosphere. Post Apocalypse insanity is not a neon pink world. It just isn't.

They do not need a new PlayStation or a new Xbox with the pro and the x out. The graphics are plenty good to make great games.

Wait 3-4 more years and release something truly next gen.

People sure do have short memories. Steam is anti-consumer, monopolistic trash. I'd be happy to see the platform die ASAP. They're solely responsible for the death of right of resale for PC games. How rich that people complain about exclusives, when Steam itself already has tons of exclusives.

It's a privacy nightmare with the ability to track everything you do. It forces updates both for its own client and applications more frequently and forcefully than Microsoft ever did. It's a resource hog even when doing nothing. It's also full of DRM.

I personally try to use GOG for as many purchases as possible.

I've had zero impact in my life based on all what you said. Steam user since 2004.

I remember waiting 2-3 hours outside stores for midnight to get a copy of a game that had a demo 2 weeks prior that I liked. Steam solved that.

Steam has integrated what Gamespy did to quake but with every co-op game. It's simple to track friends and join in. Which is awesome.

I've never cared to re-sell games because well.. I'm not poor enough to care or ever been impacted by DRM at all... I never traded nintendo/SNES games before hand anyways.. I still have them all.

It's tracking what exactly? that my steam name owns all this shit? So what? I don't post my life on steam.. i play games. If they want to know a guy with 6000$ in games library in age range X to X is playing 4-10 hours a week of these types of games it makes NO difference to me.

There's nothing anti-consumer about it.. Getting 62 mb/sec download rates on games I want that are 40 gigs and playing them within 30 minutes of wanting is awesome.

You act like a crazy person.. do you wear tinfoil hats? Are the chem trails getting you? Vaccinations causing autism?

Your family get killed by steam developers and now you're extracting your vengence?

I completely agree with everything you said.. except.. Chem trails are REAL.

I never heard of the Quinault Tribe until i started visiting Ocean Shores WA for vacation several years ago...

And then I discovered Sasquatch summit. A yearly Bigfoot Conference that started a few years back. Its held in November and hosted by the tribe at their casino. Been every year now for the last 5 years.

They have since started a paranormal UFO conference held in march.. not been to that one.

Chillin, plain some atari while KITT drives you to the coast.

Wait till the real future when we will be in some VR land while we drive to the coast...
