South Park SOT is 66% off (@ $13.00 or so) not $1.00

Still it was low enough for me, I'm weak

I've bought loads of steam games I've not even tried yet. I've seriously got a problem...

Downloading Skylines right now also...

GTA Online Heists Now Available.

Hey, was this the piece everyone has been waiting for?

I thought GTA 5 PC preorder was already an online heist...

I think you're confusing GTAV with Star Citizen.

*drops the mic*

Might even be more than one online heist!

Quoted for yeah, me too.

Why in the hell AREN'T they doing a WH40K Total War, that's what everyone wants.

Demons striding across the battlefield eating humans, spaceships landing reinforcements...

it still amazes me that people feel they have the right to say how long Star Citizen should or should not take to develop. As if you have ANY say in the matter whatsoever.

The length of time it takes to make a game is not something you can hold to any expectation and make any kind of sense at all. So just stop.

As a customer, or potential customer, we've got the right to say how long we want to wait for a product, AND for what product we want.

Adding a FPS module to this game will obviously add more time to the waiting period that some contributors expected when they paid money for a modern space fighting game, not necessarily wanting a FPS...

It makes me laugh when people think it's fine to change what you're paying for after you've paid for it. If you're willing to take one in the rear from them that's fine, doesn't mean everyone else has to.

When initially announced, it was described as more of a modern version of Wing Commander style game. Now what is it?

It's a money making engine, it can go to space, RTS, FPS... There's no limit so long as the money keeps getting added.

I can't get into those online card games, but to each their own.

JonJonz first name? BobBob? Living in a little village calle TrollTrollz?

Completely agree. I do play card and dice games with friends in person over minor amounts of money and beer and they can be loads of fun.

I just don't get anything from on line card-games. You can't drink and laugh the same way I guess. Maybe I'm getting old, but if being young means enjoying online card games...I'll take getting old.

Good luck to them with Unreal 4 being essentially free except with a 5% charge after $3000.00 is made.

I really think UE4 is doing that to kill competitors like Unity 5 and Cryengine 3.

Teams that are familiar with Unity 4 will probably stick to Unity 5 in the future, but I can't see new teams going to it or CE3 over UE4.

Wow...just wow, the guy must have known he had very little time left, and yet he shared some of his final thoughts with us, poetic.

What a hell of a guy.

Leonard Nimoy has died aged 83. As a very infrequent Star Trek viewer, he was my favourite.

He lived long, and prospered.

And he created the most memorable alien in TV/Movie history. The world is richer for him having been in it.
Yeah, the world is poorer with him gone.
He made us prosper with his existence.

Funny, that's why I bought a PC.

Maybe he already has a PC, ever think of that?

Maybe Blue has a sense of humour, ever think of that?

It is odd that you see jabs (friendly or otherwise) towards consoles when I don't recall console folks shitting on the pc folks.

They don't know we exist...for good or for ill.

Looks like it would be better if it combined a bit of Beyond Earth so you could manage the worlds you conquer.

Dunno, seems interesting, but there are are plenty of good 4X space games out there, and I don't see this bringing anything special into it. Will still keep an eye on it for reviews but *meh*

Probably pick this up eventually, but not right now. I'm more interested in what the Mod community does with this, as Homeworld had some XCELLENT mods.

Don't buy prerelease and you won't feel the pain...from either crappy conversions, unfulfilled promises, and just plain old marketing savvy that works.

Yeah I know, easier said than done, but just be strong!

I've been kicked in the nards one too many times, will not buy without reviews from people I trust now.

Ain't gonna ever buy Evolve, even if it and it's DLC's get to 99 cents.

I don't want to help companies like that. There are so many other games out there with more content for less cost, WHY would I need to buy this.

Besides, if it weren't for the amount they spent on advertising it, the damned thing could be all in one for a decent price already.

No thanks, it's a bad deal.
