The game is "ok". I'm having a decent amount of fun with it, but I've always felt the BF games were "clunky" feeling, especially for infantry. This game has a lot of weirdness in it that can only be defined as "half assed" coding. Still, I'm shooting people and having a some fun. It will work for now.
I'm not a fan of all this unlock shit. It seems that all the gaming companies have forgotten than *MOST* gamers are casual, and have lives other than gaming. I have pretty much walked away from WoW for this reason. As a casual player who only games 10-15 hours a week, WoW starts to suck ass BAD when you get up around level 50. It takes so long to grind a level that it seems hopeless, and forget about End Game content unless you play 40+ hours a week.
As far as 2142 unlocks, I'm just grinding the main professions I want to play, and leaving it at that. Dice needs to realize that many of the unlocks in this game will simply never be had by most people, because the game isn't good enough to warrant that much play time. It's unfortunate that players who would not normally play a support loadout, but may when it is needed in game, will be gimped and frustrated because they didn't unlock the decent items in the support classes.
I'll play this for a while, waiting for ETQW which will be an entirely refined gameplay experience, I'm sure. I believe 2142 will be a dead stick when QW
hits the shelves. EA should count their blessings that it was delayed. This comment was edited on Nov 21, 14:26.
He cut the possum's face off then cut around the eye socket. In the center of the belt buckle, where the possum's eye would be, he has placed a small piece of wood from his old '52 Ford's home made railroad tie bumper. Damn, he misses that truck.
