Well, at least there is a single-player campaign. It says there are 13 missions. So many other RTS titles these days seem to skip the SP campaign.

When you are behind in market share (and AMD is) you have to be better than the competition. You can't make mistakes. You can't release products just as good or almost as good as the leader.

To succeed from behind, you need to be better. You need to be faster, cheaper, or more stable. You need to give people a reason to change brands.

AMD needs to step up its game if it wants to regain significant market share. We all want to successful GPU manufacturers. Someone needs to be there to keep the leader in line.

GPUs aren't religion. We don't need evangelists. We need people to be honest about hardware, drivers, and their experiences with the product. We need to hold the manufacturers accountable with our wallets when they don't meet expectations.

I'm truly sorry that AMD has been struggling. I've been using nVidia for years but would readily jump to a more compelling, competitive option.

This is just plain horrible. TB, love or hate him, is a straight shooter and an awesome game reviewer. I've purchased (and avoided) a lot of games on his advice.

Fight the good fight, John. The community needs you.

The game is a lot like playing a tabletop game with an asshole DM. If you like that, you'll like this game. It reminds me of most of my D&D/Pathfinder sessions. I like it!

In all honesty, to survive the experience that is the RPGCodex forums, you kinda have to be a douchebag. There's no getting around it.

this kind of whining ranks high on the list of most ridiculous bullshit on BN

I'm sure there are MUCH worse. Should I check all of your posts from the past?

It isn't whining when someone states that they are going to vote with their wallet. It isn't whining when someone lists the shortcomings of a game that has all the trademarks of a console port.

It IS whining (or at least petulant) to call what someone else has posted as 'bullshit' just because you think differently.

its whining.. same as you are doing here..

Only platforming games can be considered 'superior' on a controller for the most part, and even then it's due to the focus on controller that makes it so -- any game competently designed with mouse and keyboard is superior in every aspect.

Now I know people may be more comfortable on a controller, and that's fine - for consoles. For PC, if you can't come up with a "superior" control scheme with a mouse/keyboard, you just don't care to do so.

So in those cases, glad to pass! I don't give developers an inch when it comes to controls, FOV, resolution, or frame locks on the PC port. If any of them fail to "do it right" I refuse to buy and make it known for other PC gamers.

Okay! I'm calling you cynical.

The government isn't going to break the internet. This is pretty much about preventing Comcast and Time Warner from breaking the internet. The internet, in the U.S., isn't "just fine." The most hated companies in this country are ISPs, with good reason. They can throttle traffic at will, block packets if they choose, and penalize their own customers for using too much of what they have sold while still mistreating and abusing those customers.

Do you really like your ISP more than your government? Do you have a choice for your ISP? Many don't. You have a lot more choice in who you choose to govern than who serves you the internet.

Of course, Coaster Park Tycoon will require a permanent connection to the internet so that vomit in another CoasterVerse can have economic impact in your own, single-player Park.

Well, perhaps they are updating the engine first. With HW1 and HW2, they already have the story and many assets are still usable. Once the HD engine is good, hopefully they will move on the HW3.

Any HW1 and HW2 they sell is money in the bank. I'd like to see a combo pack so I can throw my money at it.
