I backed the game for $35 back in 2012, just wanting a Freelancer sequel...

I have 20+ mods running via NexusMods Vortex and it works fine. Even got HDR working with a mod and it looks amazing in my AW3423DWF.

I'm loving Starfield.
I did not mind that, you get an touristy explanation of what Homestead is all about. And the lore of it being one of the first major expansions of Humanity into space. Not to mention it is still a supply of resources to Humanity even if most of it has left the Sol system by now. And the Earth History Museum there as well was a nice touch. I liked the idea of New Homestead.
So in Starfield lore, has Star Citizen been released yet?
I've been enjoying the game so far. 17 hours in. Time flies when you play it.
There are some annoying bits. A lot of times the AI cheats and some have a lot of HP. Shirtless guys can take 4, 5 AK shots to chest and head and still rush you and one punch your merc.
The workshop already has some mods that fix some of this.
Some stuff has been dumb-down like shared ammo pool.

I refunded it. It's clunky and bare bones.
- No Campaign
- Enemy AI cheats
- Unplayable as solo (AI spawning behind you gets you most of the time)
- Match making didn't work
- Irons sight aren't zero'd(?). You have to aim low.
- Only 4 "missions"
- No friendly AI
I tried playing voor 1,5 hours. All 4 mission.
I'll check it out when it hits 1.0 or 1.1.

I started watching the review after watching the review by Hardware Unboxed (so I knew the card was meh) and stopped watching halfway through. They kept comparing the 4060ti to the 2060 and how it was much faster and ignored that the 4060ti was only 8% faster or equal to the 3060ti for the same money.

My guess is they took the Nvidia review guide a little bit too litteral and didn't notice the bad value.

Is that guy with the cat avatar still around? Wonder what his thoughts are on the current state of the Alpha(not calling it a game).
If you watch the video it's explained pretty well. In some games native rendering with AA has more shimmering than dlss. So the image quality is better with dlss. With 24 games tested it's 50/50.

It won't run at all on a 1070. Needs a DXR(raytracing) capable video card.
