Yeah I'm getting the sense that a lot of folks had it. Just doesn't seem like many copies survived.

Interesting. It appears that this game demo was available at Software ETC, RadioShack, Dodge Dealerships, AND as a magazine pack-in.

Makes me wonder how many survived. According to ebay, they're uncommon.

It can't be understated just how much the simple controls overhaul helps that game.

Well, they're shooting themselves in the foot. The only time a union has leverage in these sorts of affairs is if the work is necessary or a large enough public issue. Like car makers can only gut unions so much before the public backlash hurts their sales. No one has any sympathy for overpaid actors. The pubs will just find talent elsewhere.

I dunno, that writers strike a while back really hurt some shows. Conan comes to mind.

This game is going to be on a Derek Smart level of FAILURE

At least Smart has shipped a game

I would rather wait for one than spend money on a broken one.

I just think early access is a bad idea. To me, SoTA is not close to being out of alpha.

I give the edge to SoTA. Garriott is a lot more savvy than CR at getting games produced.

Skipping US cinemas would be dumb. That's still 80 million or so.

This is why I use an ad blocker.

Since I started using it, I never get virus detection alarms anymore.

I'll uninstall it when websites start taking more care with what people do with sold space.

One thing I've quickly come to realize from all the reviews, tips, streams, videos for No Man's Sky is...

how few people understand basic terminology of space. The difference between a solar system and a galaxy, (and a galaxy or the universe) what is and isn't a moon, asteroid, meteor, comet, you name it.

Yeah, blame science education for that one...

Though, SoTA has become something that isn't quite what was pitched on Kickstarter. They've really been focusing on multiplayer stuff (probably because they have to). The single player component is pretty non-existent at this point.

Most fans just want a new single player Ultima (or something similar).

It'll have as much game to it as Minecraft does. If that appeals to you, then this may be the game for you.

If they can cut the WoT down to the three or four books it should have been than it'll be cool. I don't know how they intend to handle the scale of the thing though. I mean Rand's army is effing huge! Even with CGI it's a tall order. How many Aiel will there be? The Seanchan? The Aes Sedai at Tar Valon Etc. The scale of it is all much bigger than what we see in GoT. And if they don't the budget to do it justice it's gonna' suck. I can just see all manner of B and C list actors rounding this out. Ugh.

Yeah. They have to be careful not to create MTV's Shannara.

Both of those are sort of quality of life types of things due to efficiency in storytelling, Books have an easier time with realistic flow of time.

I absolutely cannot wait for next season. I finally get the sense of how this show is going to finish. They had so many plot threads going, and they so deftly concluded them last night.

Seriously, this show deserves all the awards for this past season. No other show on television came close to the quality.

Yeah I thought the movie was OK. Wasn't amazing. Wasn't horrible.

If you're a fan of crap 80s fantasy movies like Krull etc, there is something in Warcraft to appreciate.

I LOVED (and still do) A-10 Tank Killer, as well as Dynamix others like Red Baron, Aces series etc. I think these games struck a great balance between fun and simulation.

I remember trying to play Falcon 3.0 when I was younger, and it was just too complex for me to have any fun with - same with Falcon 4.0.

I find it curious how the focus of the game has been on the MP. Nothing really has been marketed towards the SP aspect of the game for quite some time, if all that much to begin with. It just makes me wonder if it is another case of pushing an incomplete game out the door to meet the release date.

People that have no interest in the MP of the game (which looks like it will be uninspiring and not a true to the franchise), and are only looking forward to the SP portion of the game, may end up being let down. Just my prediction, but I hope I am wrong.

MP is where the money is at. They can sell their stupid weapon skins and armor etc.
