Murkowski has publicly stated she will vote against a Trump nominee if one is put forward prior to inauguration in January. Romney hasn't spoken publicly yet but he is likely to follow suit. After that, two additional Republicans would need to break away and unfortunately that's probably too much to hope for.

What is this? The Quake 2.5 engine? While the protagonists 1st person hand looks detailed, the NPC's are like 1999 blocky, and the swamp water looks straight out of that era.

This was a great trailer.... for 1999

Are you guys really that dense? This is all done purposely, to give the game that original feel of the first game. Come on guys, stop being so lame. I love the game play and graphic style, it fits this game perfectly.

And Coop to. Yea, I'm all in.

Game play trailer.

I'm surprised none of you seem interested. I'm sold; looks awesome. I loved hexen and heretic, though. If the co-op is good I'll be in heaven.

i think it looks just phenomenal, and its definitely filling a 'fantasy shooter' void.

this is one of the first of the "retro" games that has a consistent, high quality look, like an actual game from the period that was trying to look its best - as opposed to aggressively ugly shit like Project Warlock or Nightmare Reaper that are just mashing together the whole decade of the 1990s into one game.

Agreed, this game looks like it has character and besides how many co-op fantasy dungeon type games are there anyway. This is an insta-buy for me and my buds.

Skyrim competition can only be a good thing... it's actually absolutely insane when you think about it, that nobody even tried to compete against Elder Scrolls. Sure we got RPG's, and 3rd person.. but first person fantasy? A recent list is 1 game long, and it starts and ends with Skyrim and ends with Skyrim SE/VR/EE/DD. That is extremely absurdly sad.

A proper single player offline RPG? Hell yeah. Just as long as they don't force feed COOP into it...

Probably because it's an absolute gargantuan task for a niche game.

Yep, such a tiny niche indeed ;p Skyrim only sold like 100 copies after all ^^

I actually hope they DO add a co-op option to this, although I doubt they will. What is the last FPP co-op fantasy RPG?

I remember playing Skyrim the first time I went into a dungeon thinking how awesome it would be with a full party of friends of different classes.

How is this? I've had Hellraid on my wishlist for years and was sad it got dropped. This sounds like a nice middle ground.

Been dying for a true FPP co-op dungeon crawler for ages.

Ok, 11 years ago I purchased minecraft off his website for 10$ because I saw it on 4chan. Played a little thought it was cool but it was really missing was NPCs and such to really be cool. I thought, "If they just had Daggerfall like NPCs and towns, this could be a lot cooler" or even if they had Dwarf Fortress Adventure mode but in Minecraft style.

You sound just like me. I bought Minecraft ages ago and they went in a completely different direction with it than I was hoping. I also was hoping for a light 'DF Adventure Mode' type of game with NPCs, towns and quests, more advanced enemies and AI, etc. Instead, they focused strictly on the block-building stuff. Which is great, but not really my thing. If they had gone in the direction I wanted, they probably wouldn't have had nearly the success they had, so what do I know?

If you are still looking for a game like that I found Portal Knight is a nice mix of quests and building:

Not only NO!! but, HELL NO!!!

Any money given to Bethesda for this crap will only encourage them to continue with the completely shit decisions they made with this steaming pile.

My one and only hope is they have learned enough of a lesson to NOT try this shit with TES VI.

I'm just the opposite. I would LOVE to see a coop TES game. It would be fantastic having a full party of unique class archtypes tackling a dungeon.

I thought I was going to be all in on FO76, but I didn't buy it. After reading a bunch, watching videos, streamers, etc.....I don't feel like I missed anything.

Can someone who is playing and enjoying give some info as to if and why I should jump in?

Thanks.

/edit: Thanks Horrorscope.

Been playing this since December 2018 and totally hooked. It definitely had (and has) its share of issues, but if you are the slightest bit of a Fallout fan it is worth a look right now.

It is basically co-op Fallout with a light survival/building element and while you can easily solo it is a blast with friends. The community is very supportive as well.

If you want to see some good coverage of what the game entails, watch some Youtube vids from norespawns, Final Render, JuiceHead & Darth Xion.

My biggest hope after playing this is that Bethesda takes this tech and makes a co-op ES game down the line. For me that would be a dream come true.

If this is anything like DOS2, though you can't save your characters outside of a module. So let's say you re-create your own version of "Against the Giants", ... when your friends join and play through you hosting the game they don't keep their characters. Everything is stored on your computer, and they cannot then take their characters and play them in their own games/worlds.

I worry that the devs are going to use the save system from D:OS which essentially locks your characters within the save game. In D:OS you couldn't make multiple characters and load them up at will (like you could in BG/NWN/SotC, etc). If you played co-op with a friend their characters only existed on your save game which means they couldn't play them on their own.

Personally I hope we can roll as many characters as we'd like and be able to specifically select them when joining/starting a game (or module). If this copies the D:OS character lock in to the save game it is really going to limit character options.

I think this game is fucking amazing and there is nothing else like it. If anything they are adding too much stuff!

But it’s very much doing it’s own thing and intentionally ignoring traditional ideas about progression and narrative, to its benifit I believe, there are enough Age of Sail adventure, management and combat games out there but but nothing like this. If you want to sail co-operatively it’s phenomenal, kid loves it and I find the sailing and combat problems very interesting. Not many AoS games you can share with others where those sails on the horizon are a truly pants shitting event.

Totally this. This is basically a big pirate sandbox and is awesome with friends. The sailing/ocean mechanics are captivating.

This could be a dream come true. Whenever I played Divinity I always imagined how cool it could be as a D&D game so I'm really looking forward to this.

The one thing I hope they do though is allow you to save your characters out of the game. Divinity only saved your character in that savegame so you couldn't just load them up whenever you wanted (for example in a custom game).

Traditionally D&D games (BG, NWN, SotC, etc) allow you to save your characters out of the game so that you can load them up whenever you'd like in a coop/solo game, module, etc.

Personally I love this game. It scratches the FO4 exploration/salvage/craft/building itches and is a blast to play with friends.

There seems to be a lot of negative comment bandwagoning surrounding this game, but I think it is just echoes from the buggy beta and launch.

I've been playing almost daily since Xmas and I love it.

Besides the obvious D4 or D1/2 remakes I really would love to see Blizz make a FPP CO-OP dungeon crawler using what they've learned with the Overwatch engine.

Multiple classes, xmogs, lotsa loot, drop-in co-op. There really aren't many games in that genre, and if they make a AAA title it'd be king.

Some may say go play WoW, but that is a traditional 3rd person MMO with dungeon/raid mechanics/cooldowns. I'm talking more of a Heretic/Hexen/Skyrim vibe but co-op.
