Poor guy. Looking back over BioWare's releases, I'd say their last innovative game was Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic. All the games since then have been incremental improvements on the KOTOR formula. Don't get me wrong, there are some high quality games in their catalog and I've played most of them, but all but KOTOR are somewhat forgettable. BioWare's reputation for "quality" is pretty solid but they could stand to work on their "innovation", and I highly doubt that the investors/bean counters are going to allow them to take too many risks. I hope I am wrong because we gamers need something new and exciting.

A has-been company with all the good talent long gone. Couple it with EAs faux woke politics and shitty management and it's a recipe for further disaster.

It's a bit tone-deaf to hear someone who claims to want to rebuild the company's reputation list his EA experience as a positive.

I managed to pick up an RTX 3080 at launch (took more than three months to arrive) and paid only £80/$113 over the RRP for an OC model, which was reasonable. It's been a decent card and my first to support raytracing, although in a lot of games I just disable it because of the performance impact.
Had I not been able to get in early and at a 'sensible' price I'd just be sitting this whole thing out, especially at the ridiculous prices being asked for the RTX 3080 Ti.

glances over at my Aorus Master 3090
I am very happy with my purchase now.
That card was supposed to be obsolete months ago.
Did you really buy it just to play Cyberpunk (if so you're a better man than me) or do you use it for other things.
No judgement shall be passed as i have just replaced all the exterior walls of my house with glass.

I heard the games shit and randomly just spawns constant tanks and helicopters over and over.
Is this true?
I wouldn't call the game shit, but vanilla before this DLC did leave a lot to be desired and got repetitive with no goals fast. Tanks and chopper spawning is finite, but most missions spam them at you, spawning pretty close, often blatantly so. For that, though, there are mods that change the spawning behavior, as well as improve on AI in general, so it's only an issue if you want it to remain an issue.
I've not tried the DLC or read up on it since it was delayed for the first time; if the career mode is decent it should alleviate the feeling of grind, and they've had well over a year to see all the complaints and community fixes for missions and core gamplay, so I'd hope a fair chunk of that is addressed...
