CA now has a minimum wage for programmers, which is reasonably high, could be another reason.

The critical flaw with streaming is that there's lag. It makes inputs less responsive and means that you're too late to react to what's really happening in the game. Any game that requires actual player skill would suffer significantly. Also, to Stream really high quality graphics with no compression artifacts, you'd need an internet connection that I'm not sure exists or is affordable to us mortals.

A never ending treadmill, where people play the game to pay to play the game! What could possibly go wrong?![]()

Really? And people shunning contact with law enforcement is abnormal is it?

Pretty cool the way they're including content from modders (I'm assuming, hopefully, they're paid).

Google or Youtube search "happy days Fonzi jumped the shark" and watch the video that comes up.
All will become clear.
I know what the term means. It's not clear to me if eraser does, at least I can't figure out how to fit it in the context.
It means to take a risk in the contextBy buying a game barely anyone played yet.
And I am enjoying it greatly. ^^
In this trial, XFINITY Internet Economy Plus customers can choose to enroll in the Flexible-Data Option to receive a $5.00 credit on their monthly bill and reduce their data usage plan from 300 GB to 5 GB. If customers choose this option and use more than 5 GB of data in any given month, they will not receive the $5.00 credit and will be charged an additional $1.00 for each gigabyte of data used over the 5 GB included in the Flexible-Data Option.

Looks cool, but I don't see anything in the video that remotely resembles an MMO.
congratulations, you're blind
So go ahead, tell us what you thought you saw that resembled an MMO, and I'll tell you why you were wrong.
you've never seen an MMO with a medieval fantasy setting?
again, congratulations on your blindness
If that's what you're basing your argument on, you really need some help with logic.
Strike one. Try again.
A MMO needs many things, one of these being it has to be massive, which I do not see in this game. You only play with a few other players which immediately tells us that is most certainly is NOT massive in any sense of the word. Hence your understanding of what MMO means needs addressing!

Noticed this game is very popular on steam, I have watched some of the game play videos and still cannot grasp what is fun about this game? Now they want to make it into a MMO? Sorry while I ROFL.

I'd like to know if they had to sign a non-compete clause and how long until it expires. Minecraft never hooked me, but they are very talented guys. With that amount of money there is no limit to what they can do next.
