I'd been wondering when they were going to give us some more info about the following DLCs they'd promised. Looking forward to some narrative-based content - I had zero interest in the challenges.

Agreed, great games both. Hardest part of both games was one of those Bat Computer simulator missions in City where you had to dive down and go through the tunnel.. Tore my hair out over that.

I actually think this game might go down in history as being as infamous - and possibly moreso - than Duke Nukem Forever and Daikatana.

Yeah, my memory is sketchy but I think it was 12m maybe 2 years ago, then it dropped to over ten million during the latter end of Cataclysm, and now it's dropped slightly again.

There was an investor's report the other week, and as of December 31st 2012, it was 9.6 million players. It's a drop from over ten million, but apparently that's mainly in China, and the EU/US have remained pretty stable.

I picked up Skyrim in a sale at the end of November from Gamefly.co.uk for £7.99 (about $12.50), the same time it was on sale on Steam, so picked up some DLC too. Haven't seen it as cheap again yet, even at Christmas.

Mind you, I still haven't started it thanks to the sales. May wait till I built a new rig anyway, see if I can max the settings and install some shiny gfx mods too.

I believe, and the first paragraph of the link seems to indicate, that it means it's the exclusive console to receive it. I suspect it will be released on PC at the same time.

There has been an Another World remake already - whether it's what you're looking for is another matter.

I really enjoyed the 2008 PoP. I even spent the time to find every seed in the game, just because I enjoyed the mechanics so much. I'm reassured to know I'm not the only one that didn't think it was as terrible as many have said.

Vaguely relevant, J.U.L.I.A is on in Groupees bundle at the moment if anyone is interested, minimum one buck for it and iBomber Attack. Steam key for the latter, but none for J.U.L.I.A.

I never understood the wild popularity of Magicka. Maybe it was the low price point, but I played the demo and gave up because the number of combinations of spells felt TOO much to handle.

Was I just being impatient? Or was I meant to find a subset of spells I liked and stick with them?

I already own a couple of these but the others make it worth it, particularly all the DLC for DD. Always keep meaning to go back to that game, haven't given it a fair shake yet.

Kinda cussing myself for buying Legend of Grimrock in the Steam Autumn sale (especially since I've hardly played it yet), but at least this means the devs had money from me as well as the charity in the Bundle.

Woops. It looks like you are right. I was on the DoW Gold page. Not to be mistaken with Dawn of War Platinum. Sheesh.

Well, I'm confused then, because if I log in and look at the Gold page (that includes Winter Assault), it tells me I own it, therefore Winter Assault too. In fact, I can't find a separate page for Winter Assault other than the demo, as Steam only seem to sell it as part of the Gold version.

Edit: So from some reading I've done, Winter Assault should show up separately in my Steam library if I have it, which it doesn't. Since you can't buy Winter Assault on it's own on Steam (or even REbuy the Gold edition, since Steam thinks you own it already), that seems a bit dumb, if you ask me. Folk are leaving messages etc on the site, I just hope they add Winter Assault before it's over.
