Yeah for 2 clams I got it. I'm always surprised there are more board games converted to video games.
theyarecomingforyou wrote on Jun 24, 2015, 18:20:I hope so as well. However, telling us to wait for a patch before giving refunds won't cause that. A game should play "out of the box" on day 1 without significant pactches. Telling us to wait so they can fix their broken game is which never should have gone gold is poor form.
Now that refunds are so much more accessible hopefully publishers will learn that they can't get away with this nonsense.
ldonyo wrote on Jun 22, 2015, 10:35:Exactly! the problem is also the steady creep up of prices. Remember when you could get a new game for $40 and no additional DLC? Yeah its the greed of publishers/ devs that have gotten us to this point not sales.
Perhaps sales and bundles aren't the real problem. Perhaps the real problem is that some people in the video game industry believe they're entitled to $50+ for a copy of their new game, no matter how long it has been out or what platform(s) it is on. Add to that the cost of the inevitable DLC and/or expansion packs and that game's cost surges well past $100 before it's all said and done. Sorry, but without bundles, discounts, sales and GotY editions, I, and many others like me, would buy far fewer games.

oh nevermind, apparently IGN actually played the game, which gives them a leg up so far on every single person giving armchair appraisals on here. they gave it an 8.0

Do these survival games ever come out of Early Access? Seems like there are umpteen number of them popping up every month, and they remain EA indefinitely. Yet people seem to flock to them.
There were a few I wanted to buy, but the EA tag kept me away. I took several bad purchases in past sales to teach me my lesson. I'd rather just wait until the xmas sale and see if they've left EA. Seems like the daily deals and flash sales had a large percentage of early access titles.

And this is why you don't design by committee. They obviously had no vision or passion. The most successful things come about because of those two things. Someone asked John Lennon once how the Beatles wrote so many hits. He replied, they never tried to write hits. They were just writing music they themselves wanted to hear. And being for average working class lads there were millions just like them around the world who wanted the same thing.
But yeah, I guess it's everyone else that's the problem for not realizing they're hipster geniuses.

Faith from the first game - looks pretty Asian to me, not alien.

They're referring to "active" video games using the Kinect like Just Dance and whatever else. It's still total nonsense and ignores the important face to face socializing that people do in sports but whatever.

Overtly oppressive corporate run society or not I could live in that world, everything is so clean.
I want to play this with the Oculus Rift and a barf bucket right next to me.
Move to Singapore in that case. Corporal punishment for littering. It's a very clean, very orderly city, and all you have to do is submit to the will of the state and give up your basic civil liberties.

Ugh, I know Mass Effect is very soft scifi, but the trailer bothers the hell out of me. It presumably takes place hundreds of years after Mass Effect 3, during a time period where the races of our galaxy developed the technology for intergalactic travel (tech which even the Reapers did not have). Yet Hero McBadass still has the N7 logo centuries later and is still using an Omni Blade.
