Jesus they really need to start packing these on blurays (for PCs).
Yeah cuase we all have bluray roms.

And we all had DVD players when they started selling games on DVD, right? And we all had CDROMs when they started selling games on CD, right? And we all had 3.5" floppy drives when they started selling games on 3.5" floppy drives, right? They can do both. It just makes sense to migrate to Bluray over time for physical media.

While correct it misses the point. All the above we embraced as a universal format fairly quickly. Bluray shows no sign of this at all.

Well I had to go with Bell Fibe this time around but I managed to get a 2 year deal for 15/10 Mbps for $50 per an no caps. And I've no complaints so far.

Yeah, this new rig I built is the first time I've forgone a DVD player. I was going to get a Bluray for it but like Task says seeing as you have to buy 3rd party software for it...fuck that noise. Any physical media now should be coming on USB keys at this point.

Wait you have to buy third party software to watch blurays? You can't use VLC?

Another console ARPG-shooter? No thanks. Maybe when it hits the bargain bin.

It seems a lot like Human Revolution. This is a very good thing! You played it right? Cause the PC version didn't feel like a console port at all.

My only concern is the story ark doesn't seem to follow Human Revolution in a concise way. Although we will find that out for sure later.

Hopefully it's something more concrete on the next Deus Ex, but knowing the history of these types of things, it'll be some new IP that no one ever asked for and that never ends up going anywhere.

We didn't ask for this!

No but that DLC is in the works.

Capitalism is built on the illusion that anyone can get rich and just like the lottery the odds are always against you. One winner and millions of losers. Las Vegas is living proof of that illusion. Capitalism like communism is a failure in practice. A socialized democracy is best for the majority. Or as are good friends the Vulcans are so fond of saying, the needs of the many outweigh those of the few or the one.

But socialism is evil! It means we can't turn a profit ever! Just look at Europe!

Ok boys and girls it's hard truth time. Capitalism will eventually fail completely. It's based on the concept of unlimited growth. Which as we know is physically impossible as we only have a finite amount of resources. We would need an unlimited amount to fuel unlimited growth.

I wouldn't exactly call using VPN/Proxies to access a subscription service your paying monthly for piracy. It isn't exactly legal to circumvent the geoblocking but its a bit disingenuous to call it piracy.

The irony of it is that by pushing Netflix to go after VPN users they're actually pushing people from using a paying service to piracy.

Exactly You'd think that the movie industry would have learned, from the music industry, that the harder they make it for people to pay for their content online the more people pirate it. Likewise this fragmentation of available content is going to blow up in their face.

I lived in Tennessee for a couple years and the amount of corruption in that state is unbelievable.

Family member of a city councilman opens a restaurant next to yours? Expect the health department to suddenly find a major problem with yours, which has been open for decades with no issues, that is so severe they have to shut it down.

Did you just get arrested for beating your girlfriend so bad she needs hospitalization? No worries if you're the cousin of the sheriff's best friend.

Why deal with the bidding process for road construction when you can just hire your buddy from high school? Who cares if he actually doesn't know how to put a tunnel through a mountain.

I could go on for days about shit like this.

So of course the state is firmly in the hands of the internet companies.

Actually, I pretty much only played the games for the singleplayer. Really loved ODST, Reach, and Halo 4 in particular.

Why the hell aren't we getting THOSE on PC?

Because MS doesn't give two shits about PC gaming? Because they think we're a bunch of dirty pirates? I mean, look at how poorly Steam is doing.

Shorter answer: MS has its head up its ass.

But the love us so much now! If you close your eyes you can feel their love for us!
