Milnet in the Airforce, and made my first online site in early 96. I find the internet to be just as appealing and fun as then.

Just like anything, it's how you use it - and if you are fairly tech savvy you don't need to worry about the majority of garbage. Experience will allow you to and sift through the mountains of junk to find your informational gems. Like with all research it takes time and effort.

Started watching Narcos a couple days ago, seems like another solid hit.

Netflix for the most part has been making some outstanding series - I'd pay to just watch those and rent blu-rays.

You should reread your own replies in many threads, if you can get past the 100's of *removed*, then compare them to others to gauge what an actual "insult" looks like. But I'm sure you know that, and are disappointed I'm not coming down to your level.

You are petty.

What I think of you is would be an insult to you and no surprise to anyone else. Also against forum rules and general consideration which you have no respect for.

I already predicted this will make little to no difference for Hulu.

Although it appears to be an interesting option, what's the point when Hulu carries the past five episodes only of recent shows.

That and the fact that many episodes in series can only be viewed on a personal computer. The vast majority of people just don't have the time or desire to hack it (laptop to hdmi or similar), and if they do they usually end up cancelling.

You are delusional thinking by just saying something it becomes true - anyone can read that "link" but you're banking on no one doing so -- how stupid do you think everyone is here?

You certainly are the doubletroll so you can support your own make-believe when no one else does, which is usually the case.

You don't honestly think you're fooling anyone do you Kroabcdewven? You can't be that naive, but apparently you are.

Who in the world would ever in his right mind register a similar name to possibly the most known abusive troll on blues?

Only you.

Besides, you "both" parrot the same crap, speak the same way, insult constantly with childish rants, made an "ignore" mistake -- you are a rock among the AI. Not that I needed to point it out, just wanted to make sure you knew you were only fooling yourself.

Not sure what you guys are seeing -- never seen a single commercial, ever.

I also do blu-ray rentals which is a top-notch service. The majority of movies I *really* want to watch I get on blu-ray to utilize my asskicking setup, and anything is available there.

Netflix adding or removing movies (as they've always done) doesn't affect me at all.

TV sucks. If it werent for my hd antenna and channelmaster dvr to blitz through commercials I would never watch anything at all on it.

Did he forget the /sarcasm tag or the "...said nobody ever" line?

Anyways, i lol'd.

Wake up, they made Diablo 3 good finally. It's better than every other action RPG on the market and a worthy successor to Diablo 2. Nothing else compares, they're either childish kiddy games like this one or games with horrible graphics and boring combat like path of exile. Diablo 3 is the only game that hits all of the right notes to make a great package and they finally fixed up builds so they're more personal now. You should stop trolling and check it out.

Once again we have the fannie TrueTroll in another thread praising his Damiibo 3 by attempting to trash others.

Anyone who comes from D2 knows better, doesn't matter how many times you repeat yourself.

Another poorly made port.

It has a hard coded 60 frames lock, bad port.
It has a narrow and unchangeable FOV, bad port.
It has a load of controls unmappable, bad port.

I really wanted to jump in on this, but it's an automatic no-buy from me when I see these core issues over and over again.

No really they tried and failed with Torchlight.

It's definitely not as good as Diablo 2. No other ARPG is as good as Diablo 2: it's the pinnacle of the genre! But saying they failed isn't very accurate. It's a good game, just not Diablo 2-good. But for those of us who safely have several hundred hours of D2 under their belt and want something similar, TL2 fills that want aptly. I think it's pretty unfair to say they failed with the TL series.

This is a crazy person here if he has "hundreds of hours of D2" and thinks Torchlight 2 is similar and satisfying in that regard.

Couldn't be more off the mark -- D2 hours are suspect.. Shifty

I would love a 3/4 perspective sci fi ARPG. The only ones that really come to mind over the last 20 years are Space Seige and the Crusader series. Wish Runic had done something like that.

It would be very cool to have things like a crap ton of weapons, teleporters, force fields, enemy robots, mutants, xenomorphs, ship levels, planet levels, space levels, etc. etc. There's so much room for variety.

Is there one out there I'm missing?

Hellgate is just like that, but it's first person and third person. I've said this a million times here, but it's my favorite ARPG of all time and it has a much better system than D3 in my opinion. Well, it's not exactly like you say. It's not in space... But it's definitely futuristic.

Hellgate Global being the only persistent FPS ARPG (after all the changes/booing) made it appealing right away to me, but it was a solid fun game. I hopped on it occasionally all the way up to the last couple years.

One thing I've been hornblowing about for years getting a properly done FPS ARPG. Borderlands could take that to the bank in western markets, but they're going Asian, so who knows.

ARPG fans need to start realizing and pointing out there's a world of difference between an economy driven arpg and a coop/single player arpg.

You simply cannot compare any single/coop (TL, Fate, Grim Dawn, Helsing, Sacred, etc) to an online player economy (PoE, D2/3, Marvel Heroes) in the same sentence. They are similar in gameplay, but one is a few hour distraction with yourself or your buds, the other can become a veritable lifetime of play. One is easily hackable, the other is tight. One is offline, other is persistent. One has no economy, the other is driven by it.

It's like comparing Skyrim to WoW, or NWN to DDO -- just not even in the same league because of the mentioned differences.

Also, I do agree Marvel Heroes is well done. It's geared toward younger players, not too difficult to grasp most things but just enough obscurity to keep them interested - plus superheroes!

I read up on the paltry short $15 Pillars White March part 1, and I won't be supporting their nickle and dime business model.

Not as bad as what Sword Coast is looking to be, but still not worth encouraging.

Stasis on the other hand might get me playing point/click adventure games again.

The average user has 20 passwords, that's golden - I have over 2000 in my keepass that goes back over 20 years - and they are all pretty much the same way you setup yours Reflex, can "rememeber" each one unless it's a beta or something along those lines.

And I can't remember the last time I ever did a microsoft "update". Used to be windizupdate if I needed anything specifically at home. Then no updates at all - especially in corporate where clones and specific setups were a must.
