I'm waiting for a nice white 5090 to drop to complete my build.
While it looks very good as a product, I've just bought an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X for my new build. I noticed that from the 7950X and 7950X3D, the regular 7950X was faster at rendering, and at gaming in 4K, both were equivalent, so I decided the non-X3D processor was the better option for me (rendering and gaming in 4K). Now just waiting for the elusive GeForce RTX 5090 to release to finish the build!
Oh now *this* is exciting! 
They worked bloody hard over 7 years, especially towards the end and are continuing to work hard now to improve the game. They deserve all the bonuses they can get. Well done to the team on an epic game!
Running at 4K with everything on maximum (and DLSS on Quality) destroys my PC and I have an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme 2080Ti and 64GB RAM. I turned off all Raytracing to ensure it runs smoothly but I'll be upgrading to an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X and a watercooled 3090 as soon as the market physically allows me to use my money...
I was going to wait for my 3090 to be shipped before I play this but I want to play it before 2022.
It's understandable that this would put off would-be buyers of an Oculus Quest 2 but I bought one knowing all this and it's great overall. I expect however that this shit-show is going to legally force Facebook to make changes to its integration over the next year or so.
I have a 3950X but definitely getting a 5950X as soon as an online store takes my money.

It's all about 4K HDR really. I don't get why anyone plays at 1080p in 2020... And seeing the RTX 3080 net about 66% more raw performance than a RTX 2080Ti is mighty impressive. My RTX 2080Ti will end up selling for a measly £350 after the whooping it has received, but I will be buying an RTX 3090 ASAP.
My poor 2080Ti has to sell for under $500.

Definitely not! Remastered may not be completely original but there's significant work involved. They need to be supported financially for it. These aren't a case of just re-texturing 50 to 60 models and repackaging it into the Epic Game Store.

Yeah, DLSS 2.0 is insanely good. Set to Quality mode, all I've seen is sharper than native 4K and massive performance boost that makes Raytracing free, basically. Literally every single game should support DLSS 2.0.
Until third-party sellers sell the Valve Index VR kit, I won't be allowed to have it. Gibraltar will never be on the list of countries Valve ship to. Even Google still doesn't allow us to have Merchant accounts on their Play Store.

As much as I enjoy Battlefield V, I couldn't stand Battlefield 1 and I really don't like pre-modern equipment. I would love a new modern-day or slightly futuristic Battlefield game.

I really enjoyed Jedi Fallen Order and would love one that has similar combat mechanics but with multiplayer.
I really enjoyed the game, to be honest. Yes, I'd prefer to have some fast travel, manual saving anywhere and not recycling levels due to gaining new skills BUT all in all I really enjoyed it. It's Star Wars. It's therefore awesome.
Regarding the SJW comments, why bother thinking about it? If a game/series/film puts in what feels like a token character or set of characters to represent a gender or race, so what? Just enjoy it for what it is. There's no need to over-analyse everything. Things like Political Correctness are important, otherwise you get things like Trump.

The game can be rented for €/$14.99 on Origin and even if you wanted to "own" it (more like permanent rent) then it'd be cheaper to rent it for a month now and just buy it on sale later... or to buy an Origin key from a reputable key site. This is a game that will get discounted very quickly once the Episode IX hype has died down. It will be €/$ 29.99 in March at the latest.
I guess people buying it on Steam just enjoy flushing monies down the shitter. Oh well. To each their own...
