Just looking at the crop of games coming out this year, I'm so glad I upgraded my machine. I9-14900K, 4090, 32GB DDR5 (6400MT/s), M.2 SSD (7,450 MB/s), LG 27" 4K UHD IPS... I'm ready!
CPU PL1 and PL2 set to 175W, voltage set to -1.2 offset, and performance lowered to keep the CPU from overheating.
As for the game, I'll wait for user reviews. Given that it's a Ubisoft title, my expectations for the story and gameplay are pretty low.
I'm more concerned about the quality of the game and the storytelling. Ubisoft's last few games have been buggy, uninteresting messes IMO.
Aside from NPCs getting stuck in the environment fairly often, I haven't encountered any major bugs yet in my 100+ hours. Guess I'm lucky there. My biggest gripes about Starfield are things that have been discussed many times, so I won't repeat them. Still having fun with the game and I got it on XBox Game Pass PC, so I'm getting my money's worth. I would probably be upset if I had paid full retail for it, though.

Don't believe every gripe you hear on the internet. I've used them for 11 years and so have my friends and family, both on eBay and off. No problems.
