I loved Doom 2016... but stopped playing Doom Eternal fairly early. Couldn't deal with the Super Mario platforming sections and combat loop felt off for me... mechanics got in the way of it. Should have kept it working like the previous game.

Though I wish he would get someone with a proper academic English writing background to edit his scripts - at least a couple times in every video he'll string words together in a way that's awkward and weird and completely fails to be intelligible (but probably looked cool in writing). It's jarring to me since the quality of everything else is so high; I do appreciate what he puts into his work.
Those Raycevick game disucssion youtube videos are honestly great!! I got stuck watching a few of them now

I enjoyed playing the original, but instead of a re-release I wish they’d do what Crowbar Collective did for HalfLife.

My 6 year old destroys us by smashing buttons. So I tested it and held the controller backwards, smashing. I finally beat her.
Playing against my older kid was fun, but we're passing for now based on the little one owning us with her 'technique'We have Tekken 7 if the itch gets that bad.

So I am playing the first level, checking out every nook any cranny and I see a whole area I never noticed before. I actually thought there was a fairly large area of the map I never noticed in decades.
As someone who's been attending since 1999, this should have stopped being a thing around 2007.It literally did before coming back in 2009.

The more we hear about Musk and Twitter is the more we realize that he will turn it back into the shit hole it used to be.

What commercials? Oh, they must mean those things I skipped over using the skip button on my DVR. Huh. I guess LoL fans don't DVR?
