Looks like Lindsay will have to go back to making her money honestly... which means of course she'll be broke soon.

She will never be broke. She is Lindsey Lohan. People like her never go broke.

I suppose if she falls far enough she'll end up doing MILF pr0n. But she'll still be makin' bank.
Uh, in 'celebrity' terms, she's virtually broke...

Should it have been included in the original game? Old-school gamer logic says yes. Old-school gamer logic doesn't make MONEY, however, and I doubt you go to work and hand out YOUR time for less money than what you could be getting.
Well I'm glad no-one told this to the devs at CD Projekt Red, who make plenty of money treating customers with respect and releasing expansions with as much content as most full games.

Unfortunately I don't think every studio can function the way CD Projekt Red does. Deus Ex isn't exactly taking the sales charts by storm and I'm guessing they'll be lucky if they break even (even by screwing over their customers with all this DLC as implied).

I seriously doubt that we'd have seen a large expansion to this game if they had gone that route since they'd have to wait to see how the base game was selling before greenlighting it. So a few small pieces of DLC might be the last we see of DX. Better than nothing?

On Steam they show about 290,000 copies sold since Aug. 23. I'm not sure if that means the game is a hit or not? I've always wondered what sales numbers constitute a hit?

Welp, in the plus column, at least I won't have to buy all the Mass Effect games again for like the fourth or fifth time because of my hopeless addiction to the series

I had honestly totally forgotten about Limit Theory. Ah well.
Last I heard the guy had some kinda mental breakdown and had backed away from the game for a bit but then got back into it. It honestly sounds like he needs help finishing it (or just needs *cough*...help). It's awesome sounding, just don't know if it'll ever happen.

(Cough..already revisited them again in 4k@60fps.)

Agreed, when I first saw that they were releasing an updated version of the games I went back and installed the original Bioshock to play through it again and see how it holds up visually. I have to say that the original game, with all settings on max, and dialed up to 4k, still looks pretty damn good and it'll run at a decent framerate. I'm guessing this is more for the console crowd than anything?

After 43 hours I finally got to the center of No Man's Sky and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I'm livid. I'll put the reasons why here: Sean Murray pitched the center of the universe as the end-game goal. After 43 hours I got the center, and nothing happened. My reward was being deposited on a planet in another galaxy with all of my stuff broken. So the "universe" is a galaxy and there's an infinite number of galaxies. Oh, but wait, it's getting better! The galaxy code is stored in binary hex where 00 is the starting galaxy, and FF is the 255th galaxy. After you reach the 255th galaxy, the game's procedural engine breaks. So yeah, the game has no ending. Sean Murray said the game is infinite, but it's not because the procedural engine breaks. lol. NMS is a total joke.
Yup Angry Joe's review went up last night and it ain't pretty. Pretty much sums up what everyone's been screamin' about.

Btw path of the Atlas was a major disappointment besides getting a ton of words, and having black holes marked on the map
Ah, that's kinda a bummer. Well, i'm still playin'. I have found the ultimate vortex cube planet and have been almost literally strip mining this poor planet for the past 4 days . At 27,000 units per cube I am now up to 22 million units, have a 48 slot suit, and a 35 slot ship to boot! I'm ballin' like a balla dawg! After leaving this strip mined disaster of a planet, I reckon i'll head back into the 'verse and continue on with the Atlas path.

Chris Roberts says to expect version 2.5 of the early access space game next week. He also reveals that version 2.7 is expected by the end of September, and version 3.0 should come by the end of October.

Weren't they saying that Squadron 42 was coming out this year? During Gamescom did they tell the status of the game?

You’ll need a Microsoft account to disable it the normal way...

What the god damn fuck! I'm not creating a fucking Microsoft account just to disable shit I don't want and didn't ask for.

The article also tells how to do it without making the account:

Open Registry Editor (Run > regedit)
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore
Set the value of DWORD "GameDVR_Enabled" to 0
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\
Create key "GameDVR"
Create DWORD 32bit called "AllowgameDVR" and set to 0

Hope that helps.
