All my dreams and aspirations stopped the day after my wedding.

Coincidence?

News Comments > Homefront: The Revolution Announced

49. Re: Homefront: The Revolution Announced Jun 3, 2014, 02:32 SlimRam

I played the first one and didn't mind it too much but it was rather short although there was a lot of action packed into it. Yes, it DEFINITELY was a corridor shooter without a doubt but there were some story elements that were kinda disturbing (the scene in the beginning when your on the bus and see the NK soldiers kill the little boys parents and then just leave him there with they're bodies made me MAD) and the remote tank thing was a neat idea but you didn't get to play with it that much??? And the push on the bridge at the end was like....THE END and although it was kinda fun, when it was over, I didn't realize that was the end of the game until I saw the credits roll and I was like...."Uh...alrighty then".

This game sounds like a WAY more open world experience and my thoughts are that more open world is USUALLY a good thing.

I'll be looking forward to this because, well, I didn't hate the first one and I think I tend to like a few more games than others sometimes. I blame this on:

1) I have a low I.Q.

2) I have absolutely no taste

3) I'm easily amused

4) I'm usually drunk

Well now, there I go pumping up the 'ole self esteem again

*Shaking my head in disbelief*

I TOLD HIM, dammit I TOLD HIM! I said, "Sir Roberts, if you TRY to apply the physics of the 'Space Burrito Surprise' into your unfinished engine modifications, well Sir, you're going to CRASH the whole DAMN GAME!"

But DID HE LISTEN? OF COURSE NOT! Ohhhhh NOOOOOOO, Sir Roberts yelled out, "I WILL have my FUCKING SPACE BURRITO SURPRISE you SON OF A BITCHES!!!" And then, from what I saw on my private Skype session with him, he just GOES and HITS the giant red 'BUILD' button mounted on his desk and the WHOLE DAMN PLACE went DARK!

I told him...

The only way to go when you are facing Lee Van Cleef!

Yup, Van Cleef was a man's man through and through. I heard that when he saw Chuck Norris crying at his Funeral he actually came back just to kick his ass.

[facing four gunmen at once]
Snake Plissken: I'm gonna give you assholes a chance. What do you say we play a little Bangkok Rules?
[picks up a tin can. The four gunmen back up and get ready]
Snake Plissken: Nobody draws until this hits the ground.
[throws the can high into the air, then pulls his revolvers and kills all four gunmen before the can lands. Can hits the ground]
Snake Plissken: Draw.

I LOVE Snake Plissken and LOOOOOOVE 'Escape From New York'. Yeah I know my quote was from 'Escape From L.A.' buuuuuuut, let's face it:

Snake Plissken is the meanest son of a bitch that EVER drew a breath!

And...well...when I got older I realized he was basically imitating Clint Eastwood *heheh*

Hopefully, also in this negotiation room, there is access to an airlock of sorts so when the trading isn't going particularly in my favor, you will be able to see an animation of my avatar standing back, smiling as I attach a tether to my belt, pressing a button, I open the airlock into space and blow the cheap bastard that's trying to rip me off into the void...

These thoughts keep me warm at night...well, that AND the urine (i have a bed wetting problem).

  • Woman Puts Deus Ex On Computer Chip In Her Hand

  • She says, if you read further down, that next she's getting two chips implanted in the inside of her mouth, near the upper and lower lip area. She claims that she's going to be able to start a game of 'Rage' on her tablet just by simulating the act of sucking.

This looks absolutely gorgeous. Like others, I wonder if this would even be playable at a decent frame-rate? I can imagine if I had this and was wearing an oculus rift headset I would spend waaaaaaay too much time just walking around looking at the floors and walls

I absolutely adore Dead Island. I know it got lots of flak for the sort of lackluster PC port/controls, but it has some of the most insanely fun co-op zombie killing ever. The combination of weapons and stunning resort location make the game a must-play IMHO.
Agreed, I haven't even finished playing the original version of the game on PC yet (I know, it's sad) but I bought a Surround Sound headphones set JUST BECAUSE of this game! I got damn tired of those bastards creeping up on me or me running over them to get bitch slapped from behind...

...besides, my underwear bill was getting RIDICULOUS

  • GPS based aircraft tracking mandated by 2020 in U.S

  • The FAA just released a statement that confirms that the plane that went down in the woman's crotch didn't have GPS and added that if she had been "more in the mood", it would have been lost forever.
