Bastards seemed to be trying to charging me an extra $70 and another $15 for shipping.
They had to charge extra for the tarrif increase in April but upgraded me to the 3060TI @ $469 instead of the base $399.
Edit: So at least I get something for the extra $70.

I simply cannot get into this game. This from someone who put 150 hours into The Witcher 3 and the same into Skyrim, Morrowind, Xenoblade 1 and Xenoblade 2, Fallout 4, and a bunch of other RPGs. I just can't get more than 5 hours in without quitting.

I think that's part of the problem there, CP2077 isn't really a RPG. It's more a GTA-esque sandbox with some RPG elements and a story.

If that kind of game isn't your thing, nothing you can do about it.

Incorrect, all new participants must submit to a ID check, even those behind the camera or off-screen.

They are already verifying all participants and and complying with the law if people manage to cheat proper verification it's not their responsibility. Anyone can be cheated, no one is 100% bulletproof, so ofc some will fall through the cracks and that's for other dedicated organizations ( law enforcement ) to pick up the slack as they always did in other sectors without it never have been controversial unless a particular lobby, interests groups or other interested parties mashed the "think of the children" button to advance their interests.

Also I'm quite puzzled why some people are not shouting CANCEL CULTURE. This kind of behavior from conservatives and pearl clutchers is the ROOT of the cancel culture movement that has been going on for far longer than what the conservative propaganda would lead you to believe, this is OLD. It happened with the music industry ( metal's "satanism" ) among many other industries reviled by the conservatives and pearl clutchers way back in the 80's and Rock as well as other reviled industries before that in the 70's and 60's and older, much older. "Cancel culture" is far older than you think and was traditionally conservative and religious. This is just the latest attack on porn, not the first, won't be the last."

So I guess it's just "cancel culture" when it aligns with your interests/preferences huh?

It'll still be nudity.
But there's a big BBC expose either out or about to be about how little it does to protect children (as performers), or the non-consenting.

That's what doomed this - bad moderation. It won't survive. Someone will pick up the slack and actually find a way to moderate.

BBC is pushing puritanism as always, using the "think of the children/pedophilia" narrative as always. All you need to do now to exert pressure on porn sites is mention children and they fall in line like dominos, so they're using this to push their puritanism dogma agendas.

It has nothing to do with moderation, it's part of the very old and still ongoing witch hunt on porn using the "think of the children/pedophilia" excuse, as always. It's nothing new, this has been going on as long as porn came to mainstream awareness and the hypocritical pearl clutchers decided they would not stand for it and were ready to do whatever it takes to combat it.

I don't have a problem with Intel's ATX connector change...I just don't think it goes far enough.

Everything should be socketed and draw from one connector that goes from the MB to the PSU. We're already kinda there with SOCs and NVMe drives. Why not just take it to its logical conclusion? That way your PSU will last until it dies or you need more power, so you swap in a higher wattage PSU. The cable is modular so you don't need to unwire the motherboard.

I have big problems with that move. It puts the onus on the motherboard manufacturers to provide good power delivery and not only limits consumer choices, but will likely make overall builds pricier.

Today you can choose to pair a good power delivery PSU with a dirt cheap mobo good enough for your CPU and you won't have power delivery issues. Tomorrow, who's to say the good power delivery mobos won't all be constrained to the higher tier mobos?

Want good power delivery in the same class as a 100$ PSU of yore under 200$? Well, ain't it too bad, you'll need to fork out 500$+ for the mobo. Oh you don't need all the other features of the overpriced mobo? Well, sucks to be you.

PSU prices won't go lower ( let's face it, they won't drop their prices for good quality PSUs ), motherboard prices can only increase on the low-end and get worse across the spectrum up to the high-end.

No no no no, ATX12VO can go the way of BTX along with the Dodo, tyvm.

( Almost ) no one is asking for 8K gaming.

90%+ tho are asking for a decent ~250$ 1080p gaming GPU.

380$ for a 1080p card is a sick joke AMD.

It's not blaming the victim, it's using common sense. Sure, you should be able to leave your car parked outside, unlocked, and with the keys in the ignition without having to worry about it being stolen. But if you do, you're a dumbass.

Same principle here.

Goddamn... She had to setup a safeword / password with police so they can know if it's a real threat or not because the cops are used to the flood of false alarms now.
