Yea well 5800X and 5900X gaming performance are nearly identical since games rarely if ever use the extra cores. So the 5800X3D makes the most sense if they are going to do a single CPU for gaming enthusast as as holdover until Zen 4. My 5800X has been the pinnacle of gaming for over a year and it's good to see this should keep their CPUs on top or at least very close to the new i7-12700K.
